The location of this hotel is perfect, everything is within walking distance; the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. There was also a nightclub called Blah Bla. The hotel itself is exceptional, unfortunately we didn't get the chance to use all the hotel facilities like the spa and sauna as we were there with family who were staying at different hotels so spent a lot of the time outside. There are also 2 night clubs on the second floor which we did not visit but you would never know as you can't hear any noise. We did spend some time at the pool, the service is first class, the staff find sun loungers for you and are very attentive. The breakfast was very good too, plenty of choice for everyone. But what struck was the service provided by the staff whether it was in reception, by the pool and in particularly during breakfast where there were a large number of people to manage, the service standards were held! I've stayed in places before where the food runs out if you come late or the waiters cannot keep up with orders for tea/coffee and clearing tables. This did not happen here. There is plenty to do in the location whether you are a couple, group of friends, family with young kids. The hotel was minutes walk away from the Dubai Marina and 10-15 mins in the taxi to the Palm. There is also an inflatable fun park in the sea for the kids on the beach. I highly recommend staying here, and oh you can also get beach towels, an umbrella, water bottles and beach mats for the beach which saves you having to pay for a lounger outside.

Dressing gowns in the room were tiny, bath towels were very hard. Some of the guests were very rude (nothing to do with the hotel itself) TV stations were very poor. Very few channels in English language

Pool and sun area quite small. Difficult to swim while there were children. And no private beach facilities plus hotel is away from the beach over the road.

Breakfast can be chaotic when it is busy. The beachbars have loud music till 4am in the weekend.

Ideal location for a measure holiday in Dubai that is focused on beach, walking and casual entertainment. There is plenty to see and to do. property is clean, well equipped and the staff is very courteous.

The waiting time at the lifts could be long. You could hear the music from outside in the room and the last night there was a lot of wind, which made the windows whistle and we barely slept that night so were very tired to travel back home.

We arrived early due to an overnight flight and could already check-in early without additional charge. The receptionist asked whether we had an Accor membership. Since I could not find my membership nr they created a new account that provided discounts on food & drinks which was a nice benefit. All staff was super friendly, especially the house keeping. As it was my husband's birthday during our stay, we also got a very tasty cake delivered in the room. The location of the hotel is perfect at JBR with many restaurants and walking distance to the beach.

Hotel faces main street which is extremely busy at night. Expect loud honking at anytime of the night which wakes us up at any hour. Would recommend book a room note facing the main road
