Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We had booked 2 rooms, we reached exact 2 pm, reception took 15 minutes just to get us the key for one room and said that they will send the second room key in our room in 10 minutes. We called twice and then went downstairs at 3:15 to get the key. He said another 19 minutes and key will be sent. We got the key at 3:25 pm but was not working. I had to go to downstairs and get the key. I asked reception that as checking was delayed, can the check out be delayed accordingly, but he didn't even bother to respond. Second problem was that we ordered twice for room service and the service was extremely slow and took almost an hour to deliver. Third the restaurant for breakfast was full, and the service was very slow and even to get empty glasses took more than 10 minutes.

United KingdomOverall, some suggestions. The main observation was the breakfast was a little strange as staff there were not so helpful. It wasn't easy to find fresh fruit/ cereals and alot of food which I guess is local food. Only other suggestions the cleaners were a little slow, and came on occasions after 2pm. On everyday it was only a bar of soap and no shower gels. Although the general bathroom and standard is good. To improve the finish and image: The pool area upstairs needed a little more of something, atmosphere, whether music, and perhaps the hotel needs some more plants/ or more boutique feel in the rooms themselves. Maybe to change the carpets to a more modern flooring. Maybe to also make a more designated non smoking area as it is a shock still to smoke indoors for most Europeans now.
