There is not much to do or see in Kukes. The hotel is like an oasis among the concrete blocks. The owner pays attention to each guest individually. Parking is free and there are always free spaces. The restaurant is OK. In fact, it turns out that the most remarkable place in Kukes is Hotel America!

Good food and rooms, nice people. I have stayed there 3x times in the last two years. Motocycle trips in Albania. They already have a designated parking spot for my bike. You can walk into town.

We arrived late at night after two hours we made the reservation. The owner couldn't be possible to know that we are a group of motorcycles or the time we will arrive. That's why it was amazing that the moment we parked outside, before we even switched off the engines he had opened the gate and was calling for us to park inside safely. I was expecting to have to go inside and inform someone but it was like we had just talked over the phone. The rest was the same as well, arranged for late dinner just for us and everything was ready in a moments notice. The room's were spotless and spacious and the area very quiet although in the middle of everything. In the morning breakfast and checkout was as fast as we wanted and i can say that it was the perfect stop in our journey. Wish they could accept card's but there was no problem with Euros. Thanks to everyone there for our fast experience!

Our room was probably above the kitchen because we could feel the smell of the cooking oil when we woke up in the morning. The breakfast was also a bit too heavy on both our stomachs.

very flexible with check-in, a night receptionist were waiting for us when we arrived at 4am. Nice personnel, comfortable beds, free parking opposite the hotel.

The room was very big and one of the cleanest we had on our journey. The staff was really nice and the breakfast was great. The hotel has also a restaurant were you can eat very good. It is in the center of Kukes and has its own parking spaces. Also each room has a fridge. On the rooftop there is a nice terrace with beautiful views.

Jacuzzi did not work all the time,

It is a place totally different of what I had seen, A great hotel in a more deep albanian city with an special decoration and old style rooms very cute and cozy. The staff is very helpful, breakfast also good. Great location for stop on drive to Kosovo or Valbone.

Needs renovation. No water or coffee for breakfast. People smoking indoors, but that's happening all over Albania.

Room was quite large, but lot of stuff left in the closets ( old blankets, slippers...). Not very clear in general. All equipment looked really used for long time (as in the reast of the hotel). Quite poor breakfeast served in smoky bar :-(

Dated/old furnishing and bath room.

Good value for money. Good breakfast (if you do'nt mind smoking waiters :-) ). Good parking place opposite the hotel. Spacious bath room.

The price is twice as much as in other cities in Albania, but it was the only hotel on the Booking in the city. There was no toilet paper in the room when we checked in. The water in the tap was yellow. In the middle of the night other guests came into my room as it turned out their key from the room downstairs matched mine.

The room looked a bit old fashioned and was not really clean. The room had a beautiful full automatic shower, but this didn't work at all and looked liked it was long ago that it did. It is not possible to pay by credit card or bankcard. But an ATM is on the other side of the street.

This hotel is situated near the center of town and is equipped with a private parking place. The staff was helpful where possible and we got an upgrade from our room for free. The room has a kitchenette where you can prepare things but nu cutlery is available. There is a cosy terrace in front of the hotel where you can have breakfast or dinner.
