Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineThe bathroom was a little confusing, with it not having a sink and with the water splashing everywhere when you turn it on. The Internet situation was confusing. They have like 3 wifi spots, 2 of them worked but I had to keep switching. But then around 9 p.m. they all went down. Couldn't get any work done without using expensive data, and I didn't want to go down to the bar downstairs cause it was quite loud there with some local older guys watching TV
It was the closest place to the bus stop I could book, and it cost 25€ for a private room. Pretty good. The reception guy was nice and helpful. Room was spacious.

United KingdomIt is a good price , the staff are kind and helpful, the location is good too if you are comfortable using the bus in Albania (40 lekh). The rooms are spacious and everyone is quiet. Only problem is the area has a water problem so late night and early morning (11pm-9am) there is no water , to shower, brush teeth or flush toilet. So if you are landing late and coming in late don't expect the water to work. Otherwise very very good.

UkraineThe location is not very good. Far from the city center, far from cafes, restaurants. I was looking for a place to eat for a long time. The promised breakfast was not there. You can only get to the airport by taxi, but it is only 11 euros, fortunately. The room didn't lock, nor did the front door. Nothing was missing, but it was my first time in a hostel where it was a bit unsettling to leave your belongings. The cafe on the first floor looks nice, but I definitely wouldn't be able to sit there because there's a terrible, persistent smell of smoke in the room. There is no tea, no coffee, no tsikra in the kitchen, nothing for guests.
The air conditioner was working. The bed was comfortable. There was a room available for women only. Nice balcony to sit on in the morning and drink coffee, which was not available in the kitchen.

Hostess and hostesses are super receptive and social. They even baked my frozen bag of mini hotdogs. There is a beautiful vintage cafe on the ground floor. It's really beautiful 🤩 beds and all property are super clean, beds have very fat mattress that suck your soul to rest like sleeping on marshmallows 👀🤣 I only rate 9 because of distance of aprox 2.5 from city center. But for 1 night or 2 its perfect. The washing machine and AC actually work! The view of the mountains is priceless from the 3rd floor. Hostel is on the 3rd floor no elevator but the view is wow!

ChileIt is close from the bus station, but is not sooo close as the comments said. We needed to pick up a taxi, because we didn’t feel safe to walk during the night alone. Also, we didn’t use the shower because it was right beside the WC, so it was difficult to use it.
The staff was amazing, they helped us in everything, specially with the check out late because we had a problem with the bus. It has a good location, kitchen and bathroom. Nice place for one night.

New ZealandShower head was over the toilet. Kitchen was in one of the rooms.
10-15min walk to south & north bus station. Don’t follow google maps, just walk on footpath next to the main road. Great for a one night stay before a bus the next day. Bed was comfortable. Cafe was nice downstairs, with a great omelette for €3.50 in the morning.

BrazilYou can pay by card, but there's a fee. There's just one bathroom for the entire hostel (three dorms). There was no toilet paper during most of my stay. The kitchen/common area is inside what I assume is the mixed dorm, so if people are sleeping, you'll bother them.
I chose this option because it was near the bus terminal. It's just one bus stop away. The person who checked me in was very nice and took my luggage to the top of the building, where the hostel is located. (The other floors are residential, from what I understood.) Bed was comfortable.

United KingdomJust not being able to dampen the busy city traffic and sirens
The staff were lovely and the property itself was nice and clean. The room was clean. The bed was a little boney but can't complain for the money paid. My only con is the bedroom window did not close properly so I could hear all the traffic and sirens until the early hours very loudly but again, budget accommodation and little things like that are expected. The hostel itself was very quiet

AlbaniaOverall the hostel was very comfortable and had cool vibes and I enjoyed the balcony. The hosts were all very nice! But being located right next to the main road sucks. The traffic at night was super loud and the all girls dorm was right next to the window.

AustraliaThe best aspect about Divina for me was that it was virtually across the road from my bus station and I checked in at 7 am in the morning after arriving at 6:30 am in Tirana from Greece. The central bus station for other places in Albania is an easily walkable about one kilometre down the main road. The 350 lek/3.5 euro breakfast in the cosy cafe/restaurant in front is delicious. It's a small hostel so one bathroom but this was never a problem. Divina is easily recognized by its outside artwork and large mural on building next door.

GermanyLocation is far from center, but there are buses that pass frequently to go into the city, but there's nothing to see around the area and scarcely any shops. There's only one small bathroom in the hostel itself. The street next to the hostel is one of the main arteries to go into the city, so it gets very loud in the morning as people are honking a lot around 8:00 in traffic, to keep in mind. Be mindful that they lock the gate at night and you have to contact them to give you the code for the key (or ask in advance).
The cafe downstairs is very cozy, there's a nice little common kitchen in the hostel, beds are comfortable and cozy, the manager was friendly and very responsive. The place looks very good and is kept clean. Good price.

United KingdomNo real complaints.
Clean and comfortable. Tasty and very affordable restaurant and drinks too. Kind and helpful staff with good English. 10 mins walk from the new south north bus station (despite what Google maps says! There is pavement between the hostel to the station, I recommend crossing the road just outside the hostel).
