This is such a cute guesthouse run by the sweetest woman. She greeted me with a local liquor and snacks and served a truly exceptional breakfast each morning with a gorgeous view over Berat. The room was clean and private, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Don’t just Google the property when you’re going there. Make sure you use the address in Booking. Totally my mistake, but I ended up somewhere super weird. Also if you don’t have a car the climb up the hill is tough but worth it.

If I could give Guesthouse Emiljano an 1000/10, I would. It is beautiful, exceptionally clean and in a really perfect location, situated very close to the castle (which if you didn’t know, is like an old town within itself). I cannot recommend Guesthouse Emiljano more. The host goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, it felt like a home away from home. I felt genuinely sad to leave. This is very very good value for money, in fact I think the host should charge more for the wonderful environment and experience that she creates. The breakfast was also beautiful.

Superb stay - superfriendly host that treated us like royalty, very clean, fast WiFi, beautiful and quiet garden to relax, just next to the castle. We will come back next year.

The owner was extremly friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. The Guesthouse has a beautiful garden with a view of the town. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast delicious :)

There was nothing we didn't like.

Beautiful location, a little bit walking up from the old town, but that was alright. We had a room with a big window and could look out over the landscape, hills and part of the town. The owner was very friendly and made delicious breakfast for us.

The gueasthouse is super close to the castle and about 15 minutes walk from the river and the famous views. The owners are super nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with fruits, eggs, pastries, jams, coffee, tea and juice.

The parking is rather difficult if you are not used to super steep narrow roads. But the owners helped me park my car so it was all sorted.

We had a great time at this guesthouse. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty. Nice views.

The breakfast was awesome! The homeowner was very kind and helpful (also talent for the breakfast). She always related with us with her good English. The view was unforgettable. I want to say ''hi'' to Dominic who is from the USA. Thank you for everything. I suggest this accomadation!

Fantastic place to stay. Host is very welcoming and prepared a lovely breakfast. Room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Easy to access by car with parking in the driveway. The location was great. Right next to the castle, and about 10-15 min downhill walk to the center and old town. Wonderful hospitality and excellent facilities. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're traveling by car.

Water in the shower wasn't very hot in the morning.

We booked the double room with ensuite for 2 nights and immediately we felt we were received by a family member as we finally entered the well kept property. Liljana is an absolute delight and the embodiment of perfect hosting. The whole upper floor is dedicated with private entrance to guests and is immaculate. The room comes with an ensuite with a shower curtain/ glass, and with view of the castle. As mentioned previously by other guests in other reviews the breakfast area's view was breathtaking. Add to the marvellous view the excellent varied and healthy breakfast and you have reached nirvana. We will not forget this place and will strongly recommend it. Thank you for everything Liljana and gardener husband.

The hostess is so sweet, making the best of the best to make us feel comfortable! We arrived so tired, she offered some snacks and water at no extra charge! Breakfast was a full delicious one, served in a stunning view! She allowed us to use the toilet of the room after check out. She arranged a taxi for us to go back to the bus terminal for 5 €

The guesthouse is located close to the castle which is on a high hill! If you have luggage, a taxi or car is needed as the slope is so steep to the guesthouse. The set up of the guesthouse doesn’t help with getting to know people

Pretty much everything was great. The host is super super nice and welcoming. The breakfast was so good, we were really happy about it and in addition the location itself offered a great view, which you will be able to enjoy during breakfast as well Everything you need or want to see is either right next to you or very close by

Can't really think of anything besides the white wine we bought there. It just wasn't any good sadly
