Reviews of Guesthouse Marashi

That was our one of the most expensive rooms during the stays in Albania, but that was on purpose. Most of things met all our expectations. We had a room on the third floor. The room itself is a piece of art. Very modern and stylish. The bed is super comfortable. The balcony and the view - worth almost all money. Breakfast was tasty. The host is super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place. It is further from the center and all noise, what was also a plus for us. Host recommended us restaurants near, so no need to go to touristic center. If you want to feel the real atmosphere of the place, be surrounded by mountains, watch the stars, this place is for you.

The only regret was that we had a most beautiful bath, but couldn't use it in the evening after hike. There was no hot water. That disappointed us a bit. But in the morning, we used it with pleasure. P.S. that is not a problem of hotel. Later we were explained that all Theth has problems with energy. Next night in all village there was no energy. So i agree that problem is not in hotel but generally in all village.

Really friendly host and staff. Very helpful whenever help was needed, such as arranging for a mule to collect luggage to carry over to Valbone whilst we hiked with day rucksacks. Breakfasts and dinner at the guesthouse was also amazing, loads of food, perfect before/after long hikes! And lastly Theth is just an amazing place amongst the mountains, lots of great hikes nearby including to the various waterfalls including the Blue Eye and Grunas.

There is a bath/hot-tub but the water didn't last long enough to fill up the tub with warm water. TV also didn't work.

The Hospitality of the owners is incredible, they are always there to help with anything and make sure you have the best time. The dinner and breakfast are rich and very good.

The room is very basic but have everything you need.

Good location for walking, little walk into town centre for restaurants but not too far. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Beautiful view.

The host was so friendly, and very kindly cooked us a delicious dinner when we arrived late. Amazing breakfast and fab room. Highly recommend.

Everything about Marashi is exceptional - it’s the perfect place to relax after hiking! So glad we stayed here for two nights - we wish we could have stayed longer! Our hostesses was so welcoming and friendly, the room was incredible - clean, breathtaking views, comfortable bed and hot shower with good pressure. Breakfast everyday was delicious, and we are so happy we had dinner here too because wow! We were treated to a range of traditional, home cooked dishes for only 15 EUR. 10/10, cannot recommend this place enough.

We had an amazing stay at Guesthouse Marashi. The family that runs this place is so kind and you can tell they truly care about their guests. I will dream of the traditional fried dough breakfast dish, it’s SO GOOD. Coffee was also excellent which we appreciate.

Mountain view is absolutely stunning. People here are warm and welcoming.

It was such a beautiful family, and they made our stay so special. They were helpful and they made sure we were comfortable, they fed us, and recommended many places. The guesthouse was clean and the beds were so comfortable, especially after hiking all day, exactly what we needed. It was lovely

We were made to feel very welcome Violetta and her husband are so sweet, she did some washing for me hung it out and folded it up 🙏🏻 no ask was too big, they went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and are very kind people. We had dinner there one evening there was so much food, traditional Albanian. The breakfast was really good too yummy Albanian doughnuts to set you up for those hikes. Great location for the blue eye hike. Away from the town centre 15 min walk along the river so nice and quiet.

We had a wonderful time at Guesthouse Marashi. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was great, food delicious and the room perfect. Couldn't have asked for better hosts.

Beutiful place next to mountainriver(though the river was pretty dry at july). People were very nice and friendly. On breakfast hornets really annoyed us, but hotel staff tried to help with smoke which helped a little, thanks for that! 🫡

Demolishion worksite next to our appartment wasn't that nice 😏

The location is great, a nice view over the river and into the mountains from the balcony. The owners were very kind. The evening meal was nice, with many different dishes (I'm not sure how much it would change night by night, so we had one meal here and one elsewhere). The breakfast was ample (and changed slightly over the two mornings).

The size of the room is smaller than expected (we utilised the balcony for space). It is a little way from the 'centre' of Theth, which is okay as there is a basic grocery place nearer (and doesn't just make up its own tourist tax like the one in the centre). This is okay, except for the Albanian tradition of watering the road, makes for puddles and such, so you can't go to the centre too dressed up.

The view from the bedroom was stunning! Perfect location!
