Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThe beds in our room were a little uncomfortable.
The staff spoke little English but they were very kind and patient. The room was dated but clean. We saw into another room that looked more spacious and more modern than ours. Excellent location, we were able to walk to the centre very easily.

Belgium- Breakfast was really basic. A couple of slices of bread, some butter and some spread and a pastry. - The curtains in the room were weird: they didn't cover the entire window, so there was a lot of light falling in. So we didn't sleep that well. The bed was really comfy though.
- Really friendly staff - For how cheap the hotel was, the room was really good. Nothing special and small, but it had everything we needed. - The location: really in the center of Tirana. Close to the big shopping mall and the historic castle ruins. - Also a private parking for your car, which we really needed.

United StatesThe room was a bit cramped - too much furniture for the space.
The location was close to the city center and had good restaurants nearby. The manager was incredibly helpful when we had trouble with our rental car, helping us work out the situation. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs, the breakfast was good.

RomaniaThe room is very tiny, especially the bathroom. The noise from the cars passing through that street was very disturbing The breakfast is so poor ( one croissant buyed from supermarket, 2 pieces of butter, one piece of jam, one egg and coffee without any kind of juice).
The hotel was very close to the sightseeing (Catolics Monastery of Saint Paul, Ortodocs Church, the Et'hem Bej Mosque, Old Bazaar) aprox 15 minutes walking. Near hotel is a supermarket, a bakery, farmacy and a place with a lot of fruit and vegetables, nuts, almond, pistacchio. I've appreciated that they had extra blankets for bad weather. The staff very friendly, helped us parking the car inside the garrage.

GermanyI chose this hotel because has offered breakfast. Big mistake, my kids and I refused to eat it, cheap margarine and packed croissant from the store🤢. This should be improved or taken away from the offer. The bath should be throughly cleaned, rust and mold overall. The stuff couldn't give relevant information, not even how the busses are working, I mean how/where to buy tickets, asking for where the local families are going to eat, their recommendations was the most expensive/luxurious restaurants in Tirana. Fortunately I have a nose for this. Don't do this anymore.
Great location, near city center and bus connections, ideal if you want to visit Tirana in a few days. Despite language barrier, the stuff was friendly.

Czech RepublicI always assess value for money. And I have to say that this hotel is worth it. Short walk to the city centre, friendly receptionist who gave us good advice on where to go, where to eat etc. A bonus is the free parking. Breakfast was modest but ok. Value for money excellent. I can only recommend it.

DenmarkWe were located in the backhouse (behind what the pictures are showing), where there is no view and the room gets a bit dark. There are no trash can in the room, only the one in the bathroom. The breakfast is fine, but could need a healthier alternative with fruits or yoghurt to start the day with.
The room had all necessities, like a fridge to keep our water cool, a nice bed, bathroom with space and bedlight. The staff at the hotel is there 24/7 with a smile and will do everything to help. The hotel has an amazing locations, with walking distance to the center area where there also is easy access to further travelling. Perfect place if you don't intend to hang out in the room too much, but just need a place to sleep at night.
