Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThis place is a real gem. A beautiful and thoughtfully-created sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the town (which during peak season is very crowded!). It is a small business run by the whole family whom we found to be genuine and lovely people, passionate about providing a high-quality experience and doing it with love. They grow much of their produce themselves, organically, and for everything else they endeavour to source the best ingredients from trusted providers. Breakfast was plentiful and truly delicious - different every day. We took home a jar of their homemade quince jam which we are still enjoying. We enjoyed the food so much that we opted to have dinner there every night. On the last night, my daughter ordered what is by far the best steak I have ever eaten! This was the more expensive part of our holiday but worth every penny as I could see that the prices were a result not of greed or the desire to squeeze money out of tourists, but of their resolve not to compromise on quality. The family were helpful whenever we had a query or needed local advice, going above and beyond to help us out on more than one occasion. The location was great for us - we thought we would be in the middle of nowhere and have to rely on taxis, however we were still able to walk to the beach every day, which, although still pretty full, was more tranquil than the jam-packed beaches in the town. We also visited a couple of worthwhile tourist locations such as Butrint Archeological Park and the stunning Syri i Kalter/Blue Eye. It is a real shame we were only at Rida Village for a few days as, once there, we felt ourselves relax and wanted to stay much longer. We could have spent much of our time in the hotel alone as it is such a charming and relaxing place which had a wonderful affect on our wellbeing. I found myself reflecting that it would be a great place to write a book. We would really love to visit again if we can, and spend longer there next time!

TurkeyRida, her husband Korab and their son Enriko were all so kind and hardworking, we felt at home and in a paradise like atmosphere at the same time. They served different breakfast each day and we also loved the variety of lunch/dinner menu. The garden, olive trees (and the olives from the garden themselves!), and all the flowers gave us such a green and vibrant vibe. Also wifi was just great!!! A great family business, love from Turkiye👏🍀

AustraliaNothing.
Rida Village is an oasis perfectly situated just outside the hustle and bustle of Ksamil. Can’t recommend it more highly! Just a short walk down to the beach, the accomodation is in a beautiful olive grove and also surrounded by fruit trees. Rida and her family were absolutely divine hosts. They organised several things for us (taxi, transfers and car rental) - nothing was a problem and it was all great value. The breakfasts were delicious and different each day and the food at their restaurant was the best we had in Ksamil! The room and our beds were comfortable. We would love to come back!

GermanyWe were only in Ksamil for one night. Lots of people and the hustle and bustle are just not for us... Nevertheless, this accommodation was an oasis of calm in this town. It's a bit out of the way, but that's no problem with a car. The individual rooms are spread across small single-storey bungalows, which are set in a beautiful garden that has been lovingly tended. It is therefore no exaggeration to call it an oasis. The rooms were very clean and everything we needed was available. However, the two owners left a really lasting impression. They were so incredibly friendly and endeavoured to look after us. So if you are looking for a little peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, in beautiful surroundings with very friendly people, then we can recommend this accommodation without exception and recommend it to everyone.

United KingdomWe chose to stay at this property because we read that Ksamil is very busy, hectic and noisy and we wanted to be able to retreat to somewhere peaceful. This is what we got. The property is small and family run and the service was very personal and helpful. The buildings are one storey; the clusters of rooms are spaced out amongst olive trees and other plants, so you feel like you are staying in a garden. At the entrance, there is the restaurant area with also some comfortable seating, in the shade. Breakfast was included and was plates of homemade food to share - very nice and different each day. Coffee was good. We ate lunch and dinner here - the food was excellent, from fresh fish to grilled meat, pastas, salads and more. Our double rooms were just the right size and well designed. The bed was very comfortable. The a/c worked well. The bathroom was a small minus: waiting for the water to warm up and the shower design meant the floor got very wet outside the shower area. The property reminded me of Greece 25 years ago. From the property we walked to a nearby beach which was nice and quiet with a pebbly beach; and we also drove to a nearby sandy beach - we didn’t spend time at the noisier beaches.

BelgiumThe restaurant area made me think of a boutique hotel. Really cosy and loungy. I enjoyed being in a quiet area, not in the busy Ksamil but still very close to it (10 minutes by foot). Great garden, delicious food. Large confortable room with relaxing area outside. Close to the beach by foot. Very nice hosts.

Francenot much, we really liked everything. maybe just breakfast "beignet" would be nice to have every day (and plain croissant rather than jelly croissant but it's just a personal preference)
The venue is great, in the middle of the olive trees. it is way more authentic that all of the touristy hotels in the middle of Ksamil. The host were super super nice. they even gave us a little jam from their garden when leaving Our room had a little patio, which was great to have a little drink at the end of the day The breakfast setting was amazing

United KingdomExceeded all expectations, there was nothing not to like.
Lovely family run property with kind and attentive owners who genuinely want you to enjoy your experience and care greatly about the space they offer you. The setting was idyllic, peaceful and beautifully well kept - just a 10 minute walk from Ksamil centre and close to some of the more secluded beaches. Breakfast was by far the best we had in Albania and was different every morning. Showers had good pressure and always hot, air conditioning worked perfectly, plenty of parking for cars, comfy beds. We will absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and if we come again we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere other than Rida Village. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience.

United KingdomNothing really. The area itself was very busy, expensive and lots of rubbish but the hotel itself was clean. The food was delicious but pricy - we did eat there every night though so don’t be put off by the cost!
The staff were amazing and the food was spectacular. The rooms were comfy with aircon. Although you could still hear the town from the hotel, the rooms themselves were very quiet.

United StatesEverything was excellent.
Very nice property in a quiet location away from crazy Ksamil but close enough to all the beaches and even possible to walk to town. Loved the shaded area and many outdoor seating portions for guests, including hammocks. Rooms were small but very comfortable and clean. Service was very friendly. Romantic restaurant with good food. We had a nice dinner in the lovely setting of the restaurant. Fresh fish, mussels and salad, followed by delicious brownie for dessert. They had a good wine selection we tried some white Albanian wine which was very good. Breakfast was also delicious.
