How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Verified reviewEverything was great. Also met with the owner, he was really kind and welcoming. The breakfast was also great.
Only the downside is the parking. But it's not related with the hotel. There's a rule that you can drive to hotel between 01:00 - 18:00. If you come after 18:00 you might be in trouble to find a parking spot.

Verified reviewI stayed at Hotel Vale from 31.08 to 06.09 with my mom and the hotel is amazing!! Everything was perfect starting from our arrival at the hotel: we were welcomed with 2 cups of home made ice cream that was delicious. We went up to our room which was beautiful: a very modern and minimalistic double room that also had a large shower, a japanese bathroom and was completely insonorized (great feature because the hotel is right on the promenade which gets really noisy). At the end of our stay, the owner gifted us a bottle of their home made olive oil which tastes amazing. There is NOTHING bad to say about Hotel Vale, the room and location were perfect, the breakfast had some great mixed choices and the staff was nothing short of fantastic. We will definitely come back to stay at Hotel Vale, absolutely recommended.

Verified reviewI have travelled to over 40 countries, and stayed at some of the best hotels around the world. From Shangri la 's to Hilton Conrads and St Regis. This hotel is mentions it's a 4 star hotel. Firstly, this is NOT a 4 star hotel. From its cleaning services, to welcoming from the managers (Redy) to the front receptionist (Dina) the staff ( Rustem), this hotel oozes 5 star class.. 5 star hospitality treated like royalty from the second you walk through their doors. The rooms have all the amenities, spotless clean, branded slippers and towels, the fresh pastries at the Patisserie, the homemade ice cream that and the amazing breakfast will leave you in awe. But what really sets this hotel apart is it's people... They are the warmest, most caring and kind people I have ever come across ever.The experience at this hotel will stay with you forever and it will by far be the the best decision you ever make staying here. Redy, Dina, Rustem, Samina (I cant mention all names) really make you feel like family and If I've ever went back to Albania I would stay with them 1000 times over. I wish them all the very best in the future and I thank them all for my wonderful and memorable 4 nights in Sarande.

The service was attentive without ever feeling overbearing, and everyone went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. The location couldn’t be better—right by the sea with stunning views of the Ionian coastline and just a short walk to the promenade, restaurants, and nightlife. My room was spotless, modern, and well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a huge balcony. The bathroom was huge and included a built in bidet toilet! The housekeeping team did an excellent job every day. The hotel itself is stylish yet cozy, striking the perfect balance between contemporary touches and a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh fruit, local pastries, and a variety of choices that set me up perfectly for the day. Overall, this hotel truly elevated my experience in Sarandë. Verified review hotel in the best location. The hotel manager offered us a cruise on his private boat free of charge. The hotel facilities are new and modern. The reception staff were excellent, they recommended things to do and everything with a smile. The room was amazing, a huge balcony facing the sea and the promenade. We will definitely be back again.

Verified reviewThe hotel was very beautiful and confortable! The staff was very attentive and even gave us some cool gifts. They provided free minibar service which was a great touch.
The parking situation is a bit unfortunate, you can only park in front of the hotel at certain hours. Sarandë was very busy in general so parking was a nightmare. Not the hotel's fault, but something to note.
