Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ArmeniaThe house is great — everything is very cozy, clean, and pleasant. The area is lovely, with a big field nearby where cows graze — it’s beautiful and peaceful. Communication with the host was easy and quick; we always got responses right away. We definitely want to come back. We did see some spiders and ants in the house, but it wasn’t a problem for us — it’s all part of being close to nature.

United StatesPayment details should state that cash payment is required as there are no ATMs in the village.
This is a very comfortable house, where we felt quite relaxed in the peaceful setting at the edge of a small village of local farming community. One feature we loved was the verandah where we sat and enjoyed the end of the day looking out at the hillside and a garden filled with apple trees. Inside there is lots of space, with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen that was easy to use. The host was always reachable and offered plenty of worthwhile information including what to do in the area.

ArmeniaI wish there was firewood for the fireplace. The village shops don’t have firewood for sale (even though the neighbors are kind and willing to give firewood if you go asking around). The bathroom needs a mat as the floors are cold and it’s unpleasant to stand on cold tiles after a shower. Like most houses in Dsegh, there is humidity in the house and a specific smell because of that.
It’s a beautiful property in magical Dsegh. It has all that is necessary to have a comfortable stay! The house is clean and well equipped. Having coffee on the second floor patio with the breathtaking view of the mountains is the highlight! The house is on the edge of the village and perfect for taking daily hikes from.

EgyptA magnificent property, the rustic feel of the house is enchanting, the view of the mountains from the terrace is stunning and the garden and the outdoor area are breathtaking. The house was very clean and tidy, the kitchen was beautiful, the bathroom was very clean and there was an abundance of towels and they were all very fresh, the beds were very comfortable and the living area was very rustic and warm. The fire pit in the garden was a very nice touch and you can get firewood from stores nearby and have a beautiful night out in the open country. In summary, it was an amazing experience and we highly recommend it to anyone who’s interested.

ArmeniaMy recent three-day stay with my friends at a Dsegh Village House was an absolutely remarkable experience. I must express my sincere appreciation to Harmick for his exceptional hospitality and for offering us his cozy, stylish, and super comfortable home. The house has every detail to make it a happy place for us. What made our stay even more memorable was the stunning terrace on the second floor, which offered breathtaking views of the mountains and landscapes that left us in awe. Every morning, as I enjoyed my coffee on the terrace, I experienced a sense of inner peace and tranquility. We feel so grateful to have had this unique and enriching experience in our homeland, and we cannot thank Harmick enough for creating such a warm and welcoming environment that made us feel right at home and left us longing for more.
