Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We booked two rooms. One was exactly what has been booked and another one is much much worse that what we have booked. Very small bathroom. Small dinner table.

the air-conditioner was quite old and hard to adjust by hand.
Right in city centre, just 2 minutes walk to Plaza Del Mayo, walk distance to most attractive place in centro, we stored our baggages 2 days and need to pay a little for storage fee. Staff are nice, room is comfortable and with basic breakfast.

The knobs on the bathroom sink kept slipping and didn't work the best but I managed. I didn't bother to report it. Also, shower is very small, but again, not a big deal to me.
The breakfast was good. The location was excellent! Staff was very helpful. Great value! Staff was very accommodating about getting me into my room as early as possible as they could see I was very tired from my long flight.

Room is little outdated, but that's what can be expected for this price. Breakfast is not too varied, but it is the usual argentine style.
Very good location, close to Plaza de Mayo. Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff.

Smaller rooms but it met all our needs satisfactory!
Very close to historical places. Friendly, helpful and professional staff . Thomas the afternoon restaurant/cook staff was kind and respectful. I loved the church across the street and its bells ringing daily! Very safe and close to churches, restaurants, and food shops. Lots of restaurants at Calle Peru..Very clean and organized. Luis at the front desk speaks English as well as Ramiro. They were very helpful. Very close to Plaza Mayo and the Cathedral. We walked there several times. Our room was always kept clean, beddings and towels were changed daily. There was a safe to keep valuables. Refrigerator is also in the room to store our medicine.Our room is very quiet and very conducive to satisfying sleep. The breakfast buffet was sufficient with proteins, lots of carbohydrates, fresh fruits, juices and good coffee!. We will be back here after our cataratas Iguazu tour. They were gracious to keep our big luggage until our return. Thank you very much Las Luces.

It's winter at this time in Argentina and there are no blankets in the room.l was given a blanket upon request but also it was quite old and not appetizing at all.The toilet could do with abit of upgrade as well as the heating system. Because of the old model heating system l was rewarded with a bad cough.So l don't know about the 3 star hotel thing, if it applies, maybe Buenos Aires standards. Otherwise the stay was manageable. Good luck!!

The hotel is basic but that's probably in line with a 3* rating.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nothing seemed too much for them to help with. The receptionist, Luis, was very helpful with everything we needed.

air condition very old and poorly working. No screens on windows so did get mosquito bites in the room
