Very outdated. The glamour that can be seen in the pictures is long gone. Breakfast wasn't great. Not a great value for money.

    Good location. Helpful staff.

the view from the window; you see the only wall and windows on the other side, so you really have to have curtains all the time. Also, the whole hotel and rooms were not exactly modern; more like 1970's style. there was also that "cube" tv!

i loved the staff ! they were super nice! :) (well, at least the cleaning lady)..

    - Breakfast vote 0. Cutlery, cups and dishes so dirties. - Services vote 0. Plugs so old and dangerous. No soap and bath foam. Hairdryer almost burnt. - Bathroom vote -10. HORRIBLE. - the room but also the entire Hotel is very dirty. The worst experience in 3* Hotels.

The rooms are definitely not like in the photos. Very very small and old and not worth the money you pay. The staff was friendly until I complained about the room and as I was about to leave the hotel to change to another one, I could hear them curse me.

Well, the breakfast was nice and they offered many different items to eat. This was much more than we had in the most hotels in Soutg America. Well, a big breakfast ist not typical south american so there is no reason to complain about it. But the pictures looked much better than the breakfast was in reality. The breakfast was nice but not at all as nice as the pictures on the bookingside look like. And... it says that it is a 3* hotel. But indeed it is a usual hotel. Maybe it was luxury in the 70s.

The room was kind of old-fashioned but totally fine and clean. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was european-style - a lot to eat in comparison to the other breakfasts we had in South America.

The street was seedy. Very old and run down. No visitors were allowed. So I left only after an hour there. Not worth staying. I paid the same price at another establishment that was 4 star.

I was initially given a room with a constantly running toilet water tap. Was moved next door but could still hear the water running. Moved to a 3rd room which was fine.

Breakfasts were very good. Staff friendly and were able to advise me of a lavanderia in the same street just 5 min. walk.

The hotel is not 3 stars no matter what they advertise. It is a relic from the past, with old elevators having ancient articulated doors, rooms with old furniture. Not to mention the mold in the bathrooms and awful smell of detergent or cleaning solutions which reeks in the entire building. Sound proofing is also an issue. Also the choice offered for breakfast is very poor. Overall it an overpriced and horrible hotel.

Location of the hotel was exactly near the 9th Julio avenue. You have access to everything in Buenos Aires.

Unfriendly and disinterested staff, tiny rooms with hardly any space (50cm - 1m surrounding the bed), not super clean (but it was acceptable), constructional lacks (old building and you can see holes in the wall and the tubes from the heating etc) nothing than a bed and a closet in the room (and a 30 years old 25cm TV), Wifi doesn't work on the 3rd floor, you pay way too much for what you get here.

Breakfast was good, location as well

Our room was very dark. The windows faced out to a small alcove where very little natural light penetrated. Wi-fi was a bit temperamental. Sometimes it worked in the room, especially at night.

We caught the subway from near the Retiro Bus Station to Avenida de Mayo and were able to walk to the hotel in about 10 mins. The hotel location was central for transport on the subway and buses to all tourist sights. Reasonable number of well priced restaurants in the area. Most reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We were given directions to the offices for the ferries to Uruguay (Colonia Express the cheapest) and also where to find buses for those locations in the city not on the subway lines. Our room was well priced for Buenos Aires which is more expensive than elsewhere in Argentina. Our room had a fridge which was a bonus for us. The room was plainly furnished but a good size, as was the bathroom.

Beds are totally outdated. OLD mattresses with no support at all. Rooms have humidity stains and smell. Breakfast is poor. It seems nobody puts any money in renovating anything for the last 15 years. Hall is nice but better hotels around the corner.

Location and free wifi. Quiet room.

The breakfast was actually pretty poor. There was some fruit but mosquitoes flying around it.

Great location plus the staff was very friendly. Our room was pretty large. The hotel is old but that doesn't mean its necessarily falling-apart. It has a classic feel to it. Nice.
