CanadaThe self-serve breakfast was very adequate for us. Plenty in selection and taste. We were in a hurry for the bus, only to find out that it was cancelled! We returned to the hotel and the front desk staff (a lady and a gentleman, sorry, I lost your names) were very helpful in finding alternate accommodation as their hotel was fully booked. They were very gracious and allowed us to spend the better part of the day in the lobby as we now also had to find alternate transportation. The lady gave us her private bus card so at least we could take a bus on a round-robin tour to get an appreciation of Ushuaia. Very classy gesture. Thank you! We had medical issues, again, they both were sympathetic to assist in finding medical supplies, including antibiotics. There is a pharmacy 300 meter away, which also was helpful in suggestions. Make sure you have Google-Translate or a like app on your phone, as English is very rarely spoken even in venues that cater to tourists. But through all of our problems, the Argentinians were very friendly and helpful. Remember, you are at the end of the world, so allow an extra day or two to accommodate unplanned events, like the cancellation of a bus.

Taiwanusing the taxi is the best way for arriving this hotel, since that it is located in the hill. staff are friendly,and the room itself looks like 5 star hotel to me. I would like to recommend this hotel for all the tourists as well as people who come from Taiwan. The breakfast is nice and decent. Bringing your own slipper is suggested during your stay in any hotel of Ushuaia.

Staff were lovely and changed our twin to a double late at night which was so nice. They let us wait all day for our bus at 3am. Room was huge and such a comfy bed. Good brekky and discount in restaurant.

United States of AmericaThe room - No easy accessible outlets in the bedroom for cell phone charging bedside. My keycard to access the room had to be reprogrammed several times. If you have rolling baggage, there are quite a few stairs to have to carry your luggage. I was a single traveler with two rolling bags and it was very difficult.
The location was very close to the town - very easy to walk around. The breakfast - coffee and baked goods were very good. Had dinner and the options were plentiful and very good.

RussiaI encountered a significant issue that dampened my experience. I specifically chose a room with free cancellation on Booking.com, as my plan was to pay in cash with Argentine pesos upon arrival. However, a month before my stay, the full amount was charged to my card, contrary to my expectations. When I reached out about this, I was told that the charge was just a pending transaction and would be canceled upon check-in, allowing me to pay in cash. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was informed that the charge couldn't be reversed. This situation was quite inconvenient, as I was responsible for the booking and ended up unexpectedly covering $500 USD, causing some discomfort among my friends and me. I appreciate the overall service and quality of the stay, but this issue with the payment process was a significant drawback. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

GreeceThey charged me the full price beforehand, which is okay since I had booked a non refundable room. What is not okay is that they charged me double the amount I see on booking. When I asked them, they told me that my bank would calculate the difference (currently there are many different exchange rates in Argentina) and refund me, which NEVER HAPPENED, and this hotel ended up being way too overpriced. Also booking.com cannot protect you from that issue. If you are about to book a room in this hotel, make sure that you will be able to pay in cash.

United States of AmericaThe hotel doesn't respond via messages on Booking.com. I tried to reserve a taxi for returning to the airport, and I had to ask a restaurant for a taxi number because the hotel never responded. The front desk doesn't always have a person, so you have to wait or yell for someone upstairs to come down. The first night there, their computers were down, so they couldn't code our keycards. We needed an employee walk to our room with us to let us into our rooms every time we returned to the hotel. We also had no wifi. To compensate, they gave us two 20% discount coupons for their hotel restaurant, but we never used it. No soap for washing hands, but we just used the body wash attached to the shower wall.
Location was relatively close to the city center. 11 min walk to the tourist dock. Everywhere was walkable. The bathroom was clean. The shower was interesting because it had three bottles attached to the wall for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

BelgiumCommunication regarding payment options! They book the stay on your visa without prior communication. I understand that they want to be certain that people who book show up and the room is paid but it is also possible to reserve the amount that has to be paid and on arrival give the possibility to pay in cash or finalize the visa payment. In case people don't show up they then can still bill it to the visa. This is important because most people have changed money to pessos (at blue rate). They should also mention that they bill at a similar rate to the blue rate on the visa. In short a lot of discussions can be avoided.

Italycleanliness to be reviewed…there was hair all over the floor the day of checkin, the next day they entered our room while we were away to make the beds (even IF we put the do not disturb sign on the door), and still didn’t take the time to clean the floors. Wi-Fi works poorly in the room. heating was extreme and exaggerated and there was no way to switch off the three heaters, so we had to sleep with the windows open. breakfast is basic and we preferred to eat in the cafes in town.

United States of AmericaThe hotel charged my credit card without my authorization even though the booking clearly stated "You will pay the hotel in the hotel’s local currency (ARS) at the exchange rate on day of payment." Because of the blue dollar situation we ended up paying twice as much as expected as they would not allow us to pay the reservation in cash.

Great space and in a location that worked well for us. It was about 5 mins walk away from the main street and about 10 mins walk away from the shuttle buses.
