Super cozy and well decorated hostel, nice vibes, modern, lots of puzzles, beautiful common spaces, gardens and patio, nice kitchen and good breakfast. All staff was super friendly and helpful, laundry service was great to have, private room was spacious with a nice bathroom, very central as well. Truly recommend.

It is a hostal, so, for an hostal, the room, was really great, staff was super nice, a good internet connection and a "OK" breakfast. Good experience for the money spend. I would recomand.

It was the most expensive place I stayed in a number of weeks travelling round Argentina. As soon as you book you get an automatic message from them saying you must expect to pay 25% more than you have booked for which was not a very welcoming message, though you are then given the option of cancelling. This is because they do not use the official dollar exchange rate as did every other place I stayed, but instead they use the MEP electronic rate.

My room was close to the road, and you can hear the noises of people and cars passing by. Also the single bed is small, felt like easily to fall out of the bed.

Very friendly staff and large comfortable room overlooking garden. Good outside area for chilling (schilling) out. Really good selection of foods for breakfast. Very close to shops and restaurants etc.

I highly recommend Hostal Schilling! I stayed here for 3 nights in a private room w private bathroom. Loved my stay here. The bedroom, common areas, patio, garden, dining area are very clean, well maintained. They provide decent breakfast, unlimited coffee/tea, soap & towel. They are very responsive via WhatsApp. They helped me quickly resolve the issue of my transfer back to the airport. It is centrally located, and a short walk away from cool bars, restaurants and downtown stores. I’ll definitely stay here for my future Calafate trip!!

Can hear a lot from the corridor when people are coming in and out - but not major issue.

Really nice staff, good breakfast (eggs cooked for you!), nice clean room. We only stayed a couple of nights but felt like a nice place! Bit of a hill up to the hostel but not far from main square and restaurants :)

The shower was terrible, only a drizzle. Can be noisy outside.

Staff were super helpful and lovely. They happily gave us another night of accommodation because our flight had been cancelled. Breakfast was great, and the common area was comfortable and had games and puzzles. The kitchen was also good so you can cook your own food if you want.

Very clean, comfortable bed, nice outdoor space where we enjoyed lunch and some drinks in the afternoon. We also liked the indoor spaces for resting and catching up on emails. The breakfast was good. We like the fact that we could store food in the provided refrigerators. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was a tiny bit long in the tooth but it was fully equipped.

The bathroom shower had problems with hot water, spitting and cutting off at times. The bedroom was also really noisy whenever anyone was in the hall or in the next room--even opening a cabinet door in the adjacent room was super loud.

This Hostal is in a great location, a block and a half from the main street where all the restaurants, bars, and shops are--just far enough to be quiet at night, but close enough to be very convenient. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was good, including eggs made to order if you wanted but no sliced meat. If you are going to do a day trip into the Parque, make sure to order a lunch the day before (cash only, but pesos are fine)-- the mini quiche is particularly good, and it comes with the chicken sandwich.

The bathroom was very outdated and not maintained well. The showerhead was only spraying in five directions. The breakfast was very simple without much variety and anticipated basics, such as ham and cheese.

Very welcoming atmosphere with super nice receptionist, helping you in any situation and question. It is located only a few minutes from the main street giving it proximity but also a relaxed neighborhood.
