Bathrooms are upgraded and fancy but way too small and dark

Great Recoleta location. Friendly staff. Lobby is kind of a mess - too small and a bit chaotic. Great breakfast. The bathrooms are too small and dark.

    our stay was too short!!

Our first time in Buenos Aires and South America. The booking at Melia Recoleta Plaza Hotel was my surprise prepared for my well-travelled husband, and I obviously wanted to impress him. The hotel has exceeded our expectations with the boutique feel, old world elegance, and absolutely charming location. The concierge service was exceptional: they took care of the transportation, access to the entraining venue and Michelin stared restaurant.

Room I had was quite dark since there wasn't any balcony. Pool is quite dirty (if you can call this a pool) and that area on the patio is not cleaned at all. We told reception twice about the pool and nothing was done unfortunately

Well located in Recoleta and staff is very helpful with recommendations and speak well english. Safe area if it's your first time in Buenos Aires. Bathroom was nice and clean and room spatious. Great breakfast and quite varied. Definitely recommend

    no complaints

it was centrally located the bar in the lobby was nice and convenient for a coffee etc the room was good , not great, it’s a little dated i loved the fact that Evita Perón had lived in that old world, once glamorous building in the 50’s . the service was attentive .

I'm not sure of the value. BA seems expensive, but it was a very nice hotel on a lovely tree-lined street.

Location, European feel, and history - that Evita actually lived in that building. Great meal in the dining room and very good breakfast. Lovely outside deck and tiny pool on the 9th floor. Comfortable bad and spacious room. It was nice to relax after a long day walking.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is located in a very good area, walking distance from many stores and restaurants. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and silent. Breakfast is delicious with a good choice of food - if you are lucky, may have a chance to experience live piano. The staff is awesome, very helpful and kind. A special mention to Francisco who was really helpful, friendly and arranged a late check out for us. Thank you, Francisco! I strongly recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting BsAs.

We visited the rooftop pool once and the pool was tiny and only a few chairs which were all taken. Was not important to us .

We enjoy staying at more boutique hotels and this was exceptional. Every staff member was very professional and helpful. They were also very helpful in assisting with storing luggage when we arrived early and had a late flight out. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Loved the towels! The breakfasts were top notch with many different hot and cold options. Where else do you get someone playing a grand piano while eating breakfast! We also loved the location in Recoleta. It was so easy to get to great restaurants, shopping, grand mansions and the Recoleta Cemetery.
