The staff didn’t help during the streets closing on Sunday’s March 24 demonstrations near the hotel and we had to walk four blocks away the hotel to catch our Uber to the cruise terminal.

You have to take into account of this is an old property with the rooms designed maybe some 20 years ago, still equipment, bathtubs, and local power outlets, and a light management system, which none of us manage to learn during our stay

The breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend adding in the breakfast, it was just okay. Also, there are so many cafes just steps outside of the hotel that are amazing.

Location was great, you just stepped out of the hotel and could walk around and see the sights. Room was very nice and had comfortable beds.

The gym needs a good renovation. The check out time is not good.

Location is great, very central and close to San Telmo, with nice caffes around the corner. The room was great and so was the breakfast. Staff was very helpful.

Having breakfast at the hotel gives a fast start to the day. Breakest was good but not outstanding.

Pool closes at 8pm already even when it's 30 degrees outside. A/c in room makes a lot of noise. First time booking 5star hotel, but it wasn't much different than a 4 star quality you see in Europe.

Pool on roof, great wifi, great cocktails. A/c works great. Cool rooftop with nice views.

Comfortable hotel in the preferred location a step away from Casa Rosada and every possible public transit but in the quiet street. I can easily walk to all the central streets (Monserat) and picturesque San Telmo. It was also very easy to reach other neighborhoods.

The carpet is probably a bit old and smells as such. Not a big deal but could be improved. I chose this hotel because of the pool. The pool however only opens until 11 am so we couldn’t use the pool :(

I liked the location, la casa rosada and puerto madero are just behind. Walking distance to av de julio. Great neighborhood

At booking, we specifically requested a premium room with 2 separate beds, and I also called 12 hr. prior to our arrival (it was already after 3PM on the check-in day) to make sure we had a room with 2 separate beds, and we were confirmed by a staff member that it was correct. To our surprise, at our arrival to the hotel (very early on the following day after a long international flight) the staff told us the 2 separate beds room was not available and offered us a single queen-bed room. After we complained, they offered us a basic, much smaller, room with two single beds, but they still charged us as a premium room, even though we complained. We were extremely tired and accepted to be placed in the smaller room with the two separate beds and we ended up paying for a premium room.

Location was the reason we chose this hotel and I agree the location is excellent to walk around.

There was broken glass and a spill on the carpet in our junior suite. I cut my foot on the broken glass and upon trying to call the reception to arrange for someone to clean it, we had no response after calling reception four times. The day after the incident we physically went down to the reception and notified the staff member of this issue. He apologised and told my wife and I that he would arrange for someone to come clean the broken glass. No one came so we called the reception again. My wife and I went out of the hotel and returned to our room that evening to find the broken glass still there (even after room cleaning had come by). We had to then go back down again and notify another member of staff, who thankfully, immediately arranged for the broken glass to be cleaned. The pool was generally nice however when we used the pool on the second day of our visit it was very dirty and did not look clean.

The lady who checked us in was brilliant. Very charming and welcoming. We had a massive issue with broken glass and a spill from a previous guest in our room and the lady who checked us in sorted out this issue for us. The roof terrace and pool were generally lovely. The location is brilliant. The hotel kindly prepared my wife and I some honeymoon treats for our honeymoon.

Location is not safe specially after dark The hotel is old and rooms were NOT updated in at least 40-30 years, if at all. No coffee maker or even a tissue papers in a room.

The rooms and especially the furniture really need to be updated or better replaced. You can clearly see the wear and tear on the chairs and tables especially in restaurant. The hotel is not a 5 stars and also wouldn’t be with the update. 4 stars the most because it doesn’t have all the 5 star facilities.

Central location just a few steps from Plaza de Mayo and Metro stations. The building is in a nice 1930’s style (inaugurated in 1931) including a grand lobby area and restaurant area. The whole hotel as a spacious and slight 1930’s feel. The family room that we booked as spacious and had a separate living rooms and two bedrooms!
