Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaShowers leaked over the floor and you need ears plugs on weekends as the area is a great entertainment area.
Great location and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast but you need to get it early as things run out. Beds comfortable. I would get a Superior room as they are much nicer and larger. The staff was good.

United KingdomBreakfast was ok but could have been a little more interesting, eg more interesting fruits and maybe some variety so it’s not exactly the same each day.
Beautiful old building which has been tastefully decorated. Lovely rooms and the queen sized beds are incredibly comfortable! Good location with bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Having the pool is lovely, even though it’s only small.

United States of AmericaBathroom set up was a bit unusual with frosted glass door (ours didn't close well) to toilet and shower. Sink outside in main room had no towel rack, hooks or shelving.
Great location in San Telmo, close to Bar Federal and the Market - both are not to be missed! Marcello at the front desk was very helpful. It was quite hot while we were there so we really enjoyed the rooftop pool.

United States of AmericaThis very friendly hotel apparently has a problem providing clean and good quality towels . On my first day I got not so clean towel with three holes . Then another towel with large hole . No after shower floor mat available unless you ask for . Also , the rooms would benefit greatly from having one good light fixture .
The reception/breakfast area nicely decorated with modern paintings and pieces of artwork. The staff very caring and helpful. We spent 7 nights altogether and enjoyed it very much. The patios are great to linger on , enjoy some vino and meet other fellow travelers. The front desk guys will arrange airport transfers at reasonable rates , local taxi , etc . Be cautious with Mauro though , he tried to trick me into getting an expensive transfer to the ferry terminal, regular taxi costs a fraction of " transfer " service .

RomaniaThe property is run-down and needs renovation. I stayed there on two separate nights (before and after a cruise). While the rooms were sizeable and the sheets were clean, the room I stayed in last time had a dirty looking bathroom and towels that looked like rags, with traces of dubious colours. The hotel is some 2 km away from the upscale part of the city (were most good restaurants are located), and the sorrounding streets are dirty and smelly, though the neighbourhood seems fine.
Rooms were a good size. The hotel staff was very nice. The property is located in a quiet area and has some pretty patios.

AustraliaThe bathroom was an open space in the room, so it had no bathroom door which we had to get used to. Our room had floor to ceiling windows opening into the patio where people walked by - it felt a bit exposed and we had to keep the curtains closed making the room completely dark. An upgrade of quality of linen, towels and pillows would be good too.
Great location in the heart of San Telmo and arty hotel in an old renovated building. Breakfast was good!

United KingdomBathroom door doesn't close which wasn't a problem as I was on my own but could be unpleasant when sharing the room. Also the bathroom floor got wet quickly when using the shower.
Good room in a nicely decorated building, lots of art. Small rooftop pool was nice for a quick dip to refresh after a full day of sight-seeing. Staff helped me with changing some dollars. Breakfast was simple but good. Location is pretty good, in walking distance from the main streets in San Telmo (I also walked to the BA centre and to La Boca).

FranceThe room was dark, there were no cover on the mattress only one very light linen was separating my body to the mattress which I find not very hygienic.. The towels were very old and smelling like bleach ..I had to change them cause it was unacceptable Also, it is important to clean the room cards before giving them to customers I would have appreciated a cattle in the room to make some tea.
The hôtel is original and surely beautiful in summer time with lots of outside hangout areas
