Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The covering of the couch didn't seem the cleanest.
Breakfast was standard for South America, meat, cheese, breads, pastries. We had 3 people and the room was spacious with one bedroom plus a living room area. Unit had a kitchen but we didn't use it, but we could have.

a hot tub would have been amazing
the room was very clean, modern and spacious. it was in a great location with easy parking. the shower was great with hot water and good drainage. the kitchen was well equipped. the staff at the front desk was very helpful. the breakfast was great and the packed lunches available to take on hikes were also really good

The property appears new or close to it. The apartments are very stylish and comfortable. Lovely reception staff were welcoming and pleasant throughout 4 day stay. I tried my broken Spanish, but they were happy to speak in good English. Breakfast was simple but adequate. There is a restaurant but I only had a dessert one night, which was lovely. There is nothing to fault.

No air-con, which is typical for this part of Argentina because of short summers Also construction across from the property

This is one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The restaurant was really good and the staff know a lot about the wine and food served. It was overall a great value. When we come back to El Chalten we’ll definitely stay here again!

I like everything of this place! Hope the storage place for luggage could be a little bigger and more convenient. But it's not bad because the staff is very helpful!
Wonderful breakfast and very nice location. The building is new and the internal decor of the room is very nice!! Good size of the room and comfortable beds, clean bathroom.

What can I say? I enjoyed everything and everyone at this stay! Perfect location right next the the river and main street. Room was functional, clean and super comfy. Staff was impeccable. They have breakfast, bar, laundry service, currency exchange and little tiny maps for any questions you have about town. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again! Chow!

We didn't have a view--our room looked out on some construction. But we didn't hang out in there enough for it to matter much
Great, peaceful location. Room was awesome. Hot water, great bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Wifi was out for much of the stay, so that was the only issue with the facilities. Staff was very friendly and informative

Everything was spectacular. Stayed in 5 different places over two weeks in Argentina. This was by far the best. The staff were so helpful. The rooms are spectacular. The location is great.

Had one loud neighbor so hard to sleep. Glass on door allowed light to come thru room so that was a distraction. Hard to use keys to get/out of room. No elevators so had to carry heavy suitcases up/down stairs.
Location was ideal. Block away from main street. Breakfast was good. Receptionist was very helpful. Rooms were clean and modern.

10am checkout. Also only hotel we stayed at in Argentina that did not use official rate to convert dollar booking cost to peso. This increased cost by about 20% although still much cheaper than original hotel we booked.
Managed to book after discovering we had reserved the wrong dates at another hotel. Pleasant modern building. Unit had separate bedroom, bathroom and living room with kitchen. Quiet location about 5 or 10 minute walk from coach station and 15 minute walk to other end of town for start of Mt Fitz Roy trail. Complimentary drink coupon on arrival and on site restaurant. Breakfast OK but not great. Freshly cooked eggs on request.

We booked a suite for 4 but it only had one bedroom. The bedroom was very quiet but it was noisy and light to sleep in the living area.
The location was great and just off the Main Street. All the staff were extremely helpful at breakfast, the bar and reception. We were given lots of advice on activities and hikes. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good
