As a person living in the country side i am quite sensitive to noise. Living in a middle of a city is of course a challenge and having both a big road, a tram AND a subway just around the corner from the hotel is of course not helping. Nothing the hotel can do much about, but worth knowing if you are very sensitive (Bring a pair of ear plugs and you can sleep well though).

The host was really nice and friendly. He let us check in earlier so that we didn't have to find storage for our travel bag. We also really liked the room which was not only big, but also tastefully decorated. Breakfast was served on a trolley that the host brought up to the room. We could chose what we wanted from a list the day before and also at what time we wanted it served. Very nice! The window blinds made it possible to make it more or less pitch black in the room which is nice if you are used to that. The location of the hotel is excellent with a lot of public transport possibilities just around the corner.

We liked the helpfulness and attentiveness of the host. The apartment and the common areas were extremely clean. The breakfast was impeccable. The bed was very comfortable. The position relative to public transport was convenient. The apartment exceeded expectations (facilities and size). We highly recommend anyone to stay here.

It seems we were a bit unlucky with our room - some reviewers mentioned how quiet their place was, others said it was quite noisy. We were part of the 2nd category, and we think it might be the room placement, as ours was in a corner of the hotel and we could hear a lot of noise coming from the main street even during the night. The WiFi connection was also quite bad at times.

We absolutely loved the aristocratic feel the apartment had, with tall doors and ceilings, beautifully decorated bedroom and large bathroom. The location was great as well, just a couple minutes away from a metro station Special thanks to our very welcoming host as well, who was very kind and helped us with the hairy parking situation in Vienna by issuing daily and hourly parking tickets for us!

Nothing that I did not like.

The location has big rooms with very nice decorations, very cozy. It has all that you need for a stay in Vienna. Great location near metro and rail station. Our stay was amazing. For sure we will book Altwienerhof Aparthotel again here. Everything was clean and tidy, big bed with comfortable mattress. Big thanks for our wonderful stay and experience.

The district which the hotel belongs to, is unpleasant

This is very swanky hotel, room, music and everything you can see there. Super kindly stuff, very pleasant, and courteous. Breakfast was nice. The hotel is placed very close to a metro station.

The host was awesome. He was always available and very quick to respond to all our queries. It's rare to find such hosts. The apartment is located next to the local train station and has several eating options around. The SPAR nearby was very convenient. Since we were staying during the peak summer the air conditioner was a blessing. The compact kitchen compartment was superb.

The host was very helpful with tons of useful informations. The location was perfect so close to subway, bus and tram. The breakfast was served at our room and was fresh and very tasty. The interior was filled with nice furnitures and paintings. Overall we were very happy staying there and if we ever go to Vienna again we would love to stay in this place.

When you arrive the area doesn't look great. However, as soon as you walk through the door of the hotel it's like you're in another world.

The hotel is beautiful inside. The owner was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was fantastic, I say room but it was huge with a sofa, the bathroom was huge and there was a separate toilet. Breakfast was fantastic. Close to public transport and has secure parking.

Liked the size of the apartment and the fact you have everything you need for a few days stay. It's close to the U-bahn station, other public transportation and supermarkets. The best thing about this place is the kindness of the owner who is really friendly and helpful.

Can be noisy depending on the time of the day but windows are blocking it. As there is an air conditioning you dont really need to open the windows to the street. There are windows to a quiet court yard though.

The appartement is very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchenette hast everything you might need including a Nespresso coffe machine. Just outside of the inner districts but around the corner of a tube stop and other facilities like a supermarket.

Everything was great!

The place is perfect; a cozy room with a kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Very good connections to central parts of Vienna. Mr Panus is very kind and helpful, and had a nice breakfast prepared for us in the morning. Highly recommended - we hope to come back soon!

Parking situation in the whole of Vienna is not perfect but good quality, Ie you can get a large car down safely,underground parking for around 10 euro per day is available. So not really a problem

Amazing host. Amazing attention to detail ,things like quality soaps ,robes etc. Generous host, if you like coffe then enjoy the coffee non of this 1 pod per person . Superb ambience, the effort in the decorations really makes the place, you feel you are staying in an exotic apartment that really compliments Vienna giving an whole experience. if this place is available definitely stay here!

Location was very good. The neighbourhood is nice and the hotel is right next to an u-bahn station. Just a few stops and you're in the city center. The breakfast was good as well, everything was fresh and tasty. The room was much larger than expected, with a comfortable bed, kitchen area, and well-stocked bathrooms. Even though the hotel is near a busy street, any noise from traffic was minimal with the windows closed. The host was able to get us parking on the street for 10 eur a day, which is cheaper than the nearby garages. All in all a lovely stay that exceeded expectations!

Everything was simply perfect. Comfortable and airy room with a small kitchen and proper bathroom, pretty big and super clean. The owner was truly friendly and helpful. Honestly had a great experience. No doubt there will be a next time. An excellent choice, highly recommended!

We were staying for 1 night. The aparthotel is placed near the Ubahn station, so moving around the city is easier. Our host was wonderful and helpful with local dining options. The room was quite big and decorated, beds very comfortable. All in all great stay in Vienna.
