Love the place, surrounding and the owner. They were very nice, we are very happy.

Lovely, spotlessly clean apartment in peaceful village convenient for visiting Halstatt and surrounding mountains. The view from the terrace into the garden with the mountain backdrop was stunning. Heidi and Hubert were kind and friendly hosts. Would love to return.

The breakfast was excellent, the rooms are very clean, the view is impressive and the owners are very special people, very friendly, kind persons. The bakery, the supermarket, a buss station, the railway station are very close of the Simmer Apartmenthause. And the lake is not far away, it is just a few minutes distance. You can rent a bike from the owners, to take a ride in the area.

Lovely spacious apartment, with nice outdoor patio area. Nice view of surrounding mountains. Short walk to beach, restaurants & bakery. Off-street parking at the apartment.

No washing machine.

Very nice and helpful hosts, clean apartment, comfortable bed, had everything what we needed. Big shampoo and body lotion (not a tiny annoying bottles :-), free car park, very good location - couple minutes from lake and train station, also there was a bus stop near by. Nice terrace outside. USB charger in the bedroom. Heidi and Hubert were very good hosts. Plus there is bike rental and they are making lovely honey-there is option to buy. Definitely would go back again :-)

Excellent quiet location to visit Hallstatt and avoid the parking misery. One can reach Hallstadt, by bike, bot or even by walking. Super apartmant for two. Bakery, supermarket, restaurants are in walking distance.

The hosts were friendly. Apartment was cosy and clean. Location was near train station and bus stop. An awesome Lake View neraby. Going to Hallstatt is not a problem.

It is very difficult to say what my partner and I liked the most. The location of the apartment is very good, away from Hallstat, but close to Dachstein Krippenstein, where you have access to the cable car to the mountains. However, you can get a bus from Obertraun straight to Hallstat, it is not that difficult, but it is always good to keep an eye in the timetable, because the buses pass each one hour. The accomodation was perfectly clean, the apartment is really comfortable to two people. Due to the kitchenware available, we could cook our own dinner. There are dishwahser, microwave, electric stove and plenty of plates, cups and dishes. You should consider cooking because Obertraun has only one restaurant, a pizzaria, close to the accomodation. Finally, Heidi and Hubert were impeccable hosts, always worried about giving us a lot of hospitality, definitelly trying to make us fell at home. And we really felt that!

To this day, a month or so later, we remember the beauty that Hubert and Heidi gave us. They were the best landlords. They gave us lots of travel advice and extra help. Their house is the best apartment in the world. You were able to find everything you needed in the apartment. The train station is close by. You can see the mountains every morning when you push open the door to the living room. Despite being close to a side road as well as the train station, you may feel very, very quiet. Here you can find an ice caving experience, or time for a summer swim at the lake, or perhaps a bike ride to Hallstatt and enjoy the scenery along the way. We still recall this delightful journey to this day and often consider revisiting them in the near future. Thank you Heidi and Hubert!

Very well located, comfortable and spacious. Well equipped kitchen and a perfect garden.

Good location close to the lake and easy access to Haldstaat. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Helpful hosts.

It was quite expensive and also far from everything (besides the lake itself) so it's not good as a base for exploring other places.
