Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was perfect for a quick stay. The staff was very nice and let me practice my German, which was also great! There was a mix-up on the breakfast and whether my Booking.com membership covered it, but they quickly resolved it and refunded so no complaints!

My only problem was the mattress. It was relatively thin and it felt like it was deformed. Pillows were good. Fan in the bathroom was bit noisy but had a 3-4 min auto off delay so no biggie
Very clean . Good location for what I needed (relatively close to U1) and Stephanpltaz within 15 min or less, without breaking the bank

It's not city centre, which is fine, but you'll have a short walk and short metro to the main sites

Everything feels a little dated and stuffy Tiny room and tiny desk Bathroom door can't really close properly (it's a very dodgy sliding door)
Was relatively cheap (something like 75 / night if I remember correctly) The location is more convenient than it looks like on the map, nearest metro entrance is 5 minutes by foot

Check in is too late for arrival around fore noon. The microwave is placed at a height not so easily accessible for short people. It would be better to have some more utensils for cooking. A glass bowl for mw, for example.

Great and friendly staff, nice functional room (only used it for sleeping, didn’t spend much time there), clean bathroom. Location is nice too - easy to get to the center and the airport (great connections).

The bar area is a little sparse. There's a small lounge in an open mezzanine area. Nevertheless I consider the hotel good value for money.
The hotel was warm and welcoming in a cold Viennese December. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Cosy room (the picture is true to life) Good shower with plenty of hot water. The nearest metro station (Vorgartenstrasse) is within easy walking distance and just a few stops from the centre.

The door handle of the toilet was broken, but there was a latch on the door to lock it, also the room door wouldn’t lock every time from inside
It was close to the metro and Prater, very good breakfast, comfortable room

Location is not very convenient for public transportation. However, my huge complaint is my personal details leaking to WhatsApp spammers as I have received 3 messages from two different Indian numbers with my legal name, arrival and departure dates and even booking confirmation code!!

There were two separate mattresses on the bed, which meant there was a gap between the two beds. If this bothers you, you may find this information helpful.
Friendly and helpful stuff. Early check in was available. Parking is possible both on the street and the garage for some fee. The Prater is within walking distance.

I wish the lighting was stronger, not recommended if you are going to work. And more sockets at the table. there are only 2 (TV + water heater)
The room was big. The bed was big and comfortable. The cleanliness was excellent and there was a good package of tea and coffee that you could make yourself in the room. The room is so warm that you need to open the window every now and then even though it's winter.
