It's a 1950's hotel, which is part of the charm in my opinion. If you're looking for state-of-the-art modern conveniences then book something else, because this one has its share of retro quirks. A minor annoyance was that the minibar fridge didn't work (and they didn't fix/replace it), and that they left the central air-conditioning switched off though it was unseasonably warm. I think it's best not to get too wound up about such things and enjoy the positives: they weren't difficult to find. The staff were very kind to us, and we thought it was a lovely stay.

This hotel is in a great location, and is very well presented. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast is excellent and we were delighted to start each day with such a feast.

No air con in our room and as it was quite warm we had to leave the windows open all night which was occasionally a little noisy

Great centrally located small friendly hotel. Easy to walk everywhere from here and very near to shops, restaurants, subway, key sights. Traditional Viennese decor so appears slightly old fashioned but rooms were fine, very clean with comfy beds and hot, powerful showers. We had a family room which was spacious enough for 2 adults, 1 child. Breakfasts were included and good choice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Hotel situated in main part of Vienna in calm area - very good connection to Vienna Airport (metro U4 and directly train airport CAT), to most important attractions from hotel is ca. 10-15 mins walking tour. Room comforable with all needs facilities (include minibar and kettle with tea/coffee). Delicious breakfast with many variants (sweet/salty snacks), fresh fruits/vegetables, cakes, delcious cofee/chocolate. Easy chech-in/check-out. Absolutley kind and friendly hotel staff - that's all made my visit in Austria unforgotable. Honestly I recommended this hotel for everyone! :-)

Amazing breakfast, quality and quatity were above expectation. The hotel is super clean, location is perfect. The personnel was nice, friendly and helpful. It's rare to get this kind of hospitality, thank you, I will return as soon as possible.

Very, very small details, eggs not well boiled, no filter coffee, old the very strong hard machine coffee.

Very cosy Atmosphere, classical Vienna Style, room just big enough, very quiet at Night, excellent breakfast, parking garage at walking distance, Nice restaurant just 30m around the corner.

Everything was positive.

Breakfast was excellent. The location deserved 10 points for tourists who came to visit the city. All of the employees were friendly and helpful, except for the gentleman at the reception.

The WiFi was poor/unreliable. The shower arrangement made it difficult to shower without soaking the bathroom.

The rooms and beds were comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff were always helpful and available.

The shower was confusing with a partitioned glass door that you had to unfold and try not to let water pour out onto the floor. The room itself felt old and in need of a modest remodel. The lift was perfect for carrying bags upstairs, but was small and could only fit 3-4 people. We preferred to walk up the pretty spiral stairs in the center.

We liked the proximity to the inner city and the quietness of the hotel located at the end of a dead end street was a nice balance. Because we are traveling as a family of four, we needed to book 2 rooms but thankfully the hotel put us in adjacent rooms. We asked numerous questions of the front desk (train schedules, how to get to Schonbrunn, etc.) and they were always willing to take time to explain and show us on a map. The breakfast had good variety and our kids enjoyed the hot chocolate machine.

1. Location. 2 minutes to underground and 5 minutes to Domkirche St. Stephan. 2. Rich breakfast, selection of cheeses, soft-boiled eggs. 3. Quite spacious room with high ceilings 4. Staff. Very friendly and helpful.
