Exceptional room, views, service, and meal. Secluded from town and some may need GPS navigation to locate. Room was nicely appointed with a balcony and fantastic views of the mountains. Bed was very comfortable. We did not get to use the sauna.

Great family owned place to stay. Very flexible, kind and willing to help to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We travelled with a 4 month old and because of their flexibility (also with the restaurant) we had every evening time to spend time together while my son slept upstairs.

Nothing to note here, monday and tuesday they are closed (restaurant) which is totally understandable. Checking at in these is with a keybox. Which is a good sollution.

The breakfast, the awesome location with an amazing view and landscape, the people are friendly even not speaking the best English, the room and the saua.

The pillows were not confortable enough, and the mosquitoes 🙃

It was great value for money. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was perfect.

An amazing location- can’t call them staff. This is a family run hotel and they make you feel like family from the moment you arrive! And the food is incredible. I feel very fortunate to have this Austrian alpine gem!!

This place was a special discovery. We were looking for a place away from noisy areas with a view. This place exceeded our expectations! The beds, towels, linens were first class. The view was phenomenal. The restaurant gave us one of the best meals of our vacation. Truly inspiring to stay here. The hosts were warm and welcoming and provided extra touches such as taking our bags to our room and explaining where everything was and how things worked. Oh, how we wish we could have stayed longer!

The location is simply breathtaking, the room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Frau and Herr Ratgeb are wonderful hosts, very polite and friendly. Our German knowledge is quite poor but we got by nevertheless. The dinners were absolutely fantastic: Austrian cuisine is not particularly famous, so it took us by surprise how delicious every meal that we tried here was (and we aren't people who are easily impressed when it comes to food).

Location of the hotel was excellent. Beautiful views all around the top apartment.

We were booked for 2 adults and 3 children for two nights stay (breakfast included). Upon arrival we have found that the price we got given on Booking.com doesn't include our 12/10/5 year old children (even though they were included in the booking). We haven't had any communication from the hotel prior to booking to say there's an extra charge so we have arrived as normal. At that point it was quite late in the day and we couldn't go around asking other hotels for availability. As a result we end up paying 240 euro more than it was expected. In my opinion this is not a good way to go around doing business as it looks like they are hidden fees. It is worth to mention we would have been given the same room regardless of the children being there. Hotel has a kids policy that says kids age 3 years old and above are treated as adults and you have to pay for them like for adults. You have to know that they might end up with you in the room but will be sleeping on the foldable sofa. We have 3 kids so one slept in one tiny bedroom and the other two on the foldable sofa in our room. Sauna was ok but no oils available for the inhalation. Also it says in the booking that there's coffee and tea available in there room. This was partly true as there have been two pods of coffee there when we arrived (no tea). Next day coffee was gone even though we hadn't used it. Hardly worth over 600 euros spent for two nights. I'm very disappointed as no effort had been made to compromise to keep both sides happy.
