Avegare level hotel, near the highway. The hotel inside, the room and the furnitures are seedy lookig. The breakfast is under all expectation: only a few cold meat and jam, no scrambled eggs, bacon, frankfurter or fish, nothing. You can get better breakfast in a two stars hotel. I asked for an omelet, the waiter was very unfriendly and he answered the cooks don't work in the morning. Nice.

The room equipment does not cover **** hotel standard.

The location is located two minutes from the bus stop with direct connection to the Salzburg centre. Very nice hotel with kind personal.

Great staff, breakfast and location ... basically off the highway and busy street, which is great but if you have a street facing room, very loud and cannot open window! Ask for garden room! They are great and quiet!

The property is close to a major highway, so is not that quiet.

Very comfortable hotel with a pleasant Austrian atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfy, and the bathroom was large and pleasant. The property had a nice yard for my dog to run around in.

The hotel was beautifully Austrian. Our room was fabulous and we enjoyed the beautiful indoor/outdoor pool and sun lounges. The bus to old town is on the doorstep and only 20mins trip. Offered us the best of exploring the city and working and relaxing. Loved it.

Little bit outside of the inner city of Salzburg. You need the bus or taxi to visit the old town (10 minutes bus ride).

Breakfast with lots of local and fresh-made products. Very good coffee. A silent, traditionally salzburg-style house (theming the Alps, hunting, wooden interieur) with nice places to sit, lounge, eat. Very good personal reading from your lips being very honestly polite and friendly. Clean rooms, bathrooms not the newest one, but proper. The motorway is right up the street, not to drive wrong. Bus station directly next to the hotel with short intervals. The house was presented in the Guide Michelin 2015.

One of my friends was asked to produce his room key as evidence of him being a guest at breakfast even after having been at the hotel for 3 days. Owner of the hotel is rather curt.

Excellent location easy access to city centre via bus and close to shopping centres, football stadium and airport.

We were maybe a bit unlucky to get a room right above the busy road next to the hotel, so we could hear the noise night and day, even with the windows closed. The room got very warm and with no a/c there was no other way to try and cool it down without opening the windows and hear all the noise...I really did not expect this from a 4 star hotel. On a more personal note, and maybe because we had to open the windows, we found 3 huge spiders inside the room. I hate spiders, luckily my husband was able to deal with them...still I think 3 is a bit too much, even being country side...

Thje breakfast is very good with some homemade products (the orange marmelade is divine). The choice is not very wide but has enough and all of the best quality. The swimming pool is really nice especially with kids. The staff are very polite and helpfull. The restaurant is also very good, we had a really nice dinner, again everything was delicious, although the prices I found not that much "down to earth" as they say. But it is Salzburg so it can get expensive.
