Great location. Very friendly host. Very clean room with good view of the lake.

The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We got all the information we needed from the staff. The room was very nice — cute and comfortable! Our room had a balcony, so we could enjoy the view and have coffee there. (You can buy coffee on the 1st floor.) The location was perfect — so close to the ferry port and many famous spots.

We travelled here from Australia and we were not disappointed. This is the cutest place! Very clean and the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and professional.

The accommodation blended beautifully with the surrounding nature, and both the exterior and interior design created a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. The location was excellent, right in the heart of town, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The host was also kind and very friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

One minor downside was that the shower water pressure was sometimes weak, and on a few occasions, it was difficult to adjust the water temperature. However, this was not a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall satisfaction of my stay.

Everything is good

The staff was super polite. The view was awesome. We were given I think the nicest room. The location was in the center of the beautiful town. The facility looks old and rustic, but it was easily the most well-kept place of all the places we stayed on during our trip. It had all the charm you look for on a trip like this, in my opinion.

It is a shared bathroom, but the bathrooms were very pretty, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Plus, we were the only ones on the top floor besides the housekeeper. And there were two showers and three toilets so I didn't feel burdened at all. I think all of the places directly in the village area have to be pricey, but it was kind of a once in a lifetime experience, so I think it was justifiable. It's definitely more justifiable than other cities in Austria.

Clean, great location, easy check in and check out. Super friendly and helpful reception. The hotel room had everything we needed with a small store right around the corner. Charming decor and comfortable beds.

Incredible staff, perfect location

The location of the hotel was great. The Apartment with Mountain View was a fun room to stay in. It even had an old working hand tune radio. The rooms were very spacious with a balcony.

I had several questions and was unable to get ahold of the hotel through email, text, phone calls or Booking.com. There was only one fan for two rooms.

Such a beautiful building, perfectly located. The staff were super helpful, and it was so easy to feel at home in the room and on the balcony (which had a wonderful view!)

The stairs were quite steep, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with limited mobility, and the bathrooms were shared. Everything else was wonderful though!

Beautiful hotel! We loved our stay.

Leopoldine opens her home to guests, this is a cute intimate living experience much like you would get as a local. I loved the property.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the location was ideal! The apartment was spacious and yet cozy.

We had no complaints with Pension Leopoldine, but travelers to Hallstatt should be aware that credit cards are not widely accepted in the town, and most restaurants and cafes are closed by early evening.

- 10/10 for the staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I don't remember his name but he was a tall guy - Location is excellent. Easy to walk everywhere and close to the boat taking you out of the island - They have a restaurant on site which is convenient if you don't want to walk around - Nice balcony -Nice partial view of the lake (though distant but still good)

The bed is very comfortable and the room is clean. The owner is very kind and nice person. When we arrive the pension, he explains very clearly about where we can eat, buy and interesting places where we should visit. We had a wonderful experience there and we hope we can visit and stay again.
