Got woken up both mornings by children screaming in the hallways or other guests slamming doors in other rooms. Additionally, the rooms were insufferably hot and our group of 4 only received a single room key.

The beds were pretty comfy and the location was great. Located in a residential neighborhood, it was super quiet and easy to access downtown.

Room smelled of smoke... Have to make your own bed... No towels..... Toilet and showers at the end of the corridor.... Very expensive....

Peaceful and remote place on the bank of fast river. Friendly personal at reception. In the middle of autumn, few people stayed, and I spent 2 nights in a 6-bed room alone.

Advertised luggage storage but no one on site between hours of 10-5 which makes this difficult. Same price as hostels in central Salzburg, but somewhat far removed from the city. Odd building - a boarding school perhaps. No socialising like a typical hostel. Washing machine was very dirty.

The shower was in bad condition, water was splashing everywhere because of the limescale.

Free parking, very quiet locality. The equipment is modest but it provides everything what you need. Comfortable bed, blackout curtains, private bathroom, two doors from the corridor.

While I knew this Hostel was further away from the City Center, I was counting on being able to rent a bicycle to get around quickly. When I went to the front desk the day after check-in, I was informed by a gentleman at the counter that the bicycles all were not in good condition and needed maintenance - thus I walked to the city center and back which is quite far adding about 5 KM roundtrip (I'm in good shape and walked a total of 15KM that day). Also, maybe it was due to low season, but the hostel wasn't very social. There's one common area in the reception and a patio, but beyond that the rooms are further away.

The price was competitive, staff friendly, and breakfast decent.

The check-in time starts at 5 pm, so you cannot leave your baggage before staying. I arrived at the hotel before midday, but the reception was empty. They didn't respond to my message/calls. I even called Booking.com itself, but they failed to communicate with the hotel as well. When I finally came to check in, the guy at the reception was super arrogant and disrespectful. I didn't even mention anything, as I just wanted to get to bed as quickly as I could. He reminded himself that I sent them a message earlier and apologised (he didn’t seem to care anyway). Then he wanted to be funny or who knows what and said, “but now you're here.” That was an answer to my previous presence at the hotel... Secondly, when I asked him for tea, he answered that he doesn't usually do that (making any beverages), but he prepared it with reproaches. Lastly, he didn't share any info about the wifi password or the checking out process.

The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, working heating and good water pressure in the shower.

Beds were not done and I had to do it myself with 2 small children in room. The children usually get 50%discount if we directly book by hotel but it was not possible from booking. Com's Plattform. It was not clean enough and I was disappointed this time. (it was my third stay in thus hotel because it is next to grandma's place). Warning for families with stroller : there is no elevator.

Nice people, great location near the park and river, calm place. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, free parking. The main advantage of it is not facilities but location. In general this is a great option for its price.
