How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

- In April most of the restaurants were closed for dinner
- great location just by the cable car - enough parking place, safe underground parking for our motorcycles - room was spacy enough - breakfast just perfect

Very close to the Hinterstoder valley ski-lift. Sauna is pleasant.

The rooms are fairly small – they felt a bit cramped, especially when trying to manage all our luggage. High price point – the rates were quite steep, as we stayed during the spring break (school holidays), which significantly drove the price up. While we expected a seasonal increase, it still felt a bit overpriced for the room size.
The location is absolutely perfect – situated right by the base station of the ski lift, which makes the logistics for skiing incredibly easy and convenient. Amazing, super-welcoming and professional staff. The breakfast was outstanding – there was an excellent variety of high-quality meals.

We would appreciate some glasses/plastic cups at least in the room, paper tissues in the bathroom (as we are use to it in 4star hotels) and one more toalet paper (it is not enough if you do not have make cleaning during the stay😉).
Close to the lift, friendly bar staff 😊 and perfect staff overall. Quite many storage areas in the room.

This was my first stay at this hotel and in Hinterstoder overall. First of all, the direct proximity to the lower gondola station; secondly, the interior design resembling a university campus, which I particularly liked; thirdly, a very comfortable and interesting room with a modern bathroom; fourthly, very good breakfasts (egg lovers will be happy); and finally, I will definitely come back.

I have one complaint, the pillow is not big enough, and two pillows would be better. The hangers cannot be used because clothes always fall off.
Very kind staff, comfortable accommodation, extra delicious and abundant breakfast. The accommodation is in a great location.

No glasses in the room

decorative studs on the wall of the room, they are dangerous, for me they are right at eye level, I pierced my eyelid

Fantastic breakfast, very good location, large parking. With the hotel room you receive a special card and you can use the mountain lifts for free and also the swimming pool nearby.

Ideally, there would be a fridge in the room, but that's nitpicking for this price.
The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the room is comfortable. Value for money is high. Breakfast was also solid.

nothing, I did not have good weather, but its not problem of hotel :))
hotel has great position for skiers / 100 meters from gondola / and also for bikers, hikers, a lot of touristic trails starts few steps from hotel, breakfast was sufficient, room with comfortable beds, not much space, but sufficient for shorter stay

We could have all fitted in 2 rooms instead of three (all double rooms are equipped for a third person…) but we were not offered to, making the whole stay on the pricey side for us.

I liked the egg preparation self service because we arrived early to the breakfast, but with more people it would take a lot of time before one's turn

I would appreciate an option to borrow bath robe for the spa area. Otherwise great stay.

self-service for egg-meals preparation. That should be done by staff, scrambled eggs should be pre-prepared so that people just take it
