Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe blinds were broken on one of the windows and you could feel the wind coming in through the windows even when they were shut.
It was within walking distance to the train station and the underground. The staff were very nice. It was clean and good value for the cost.

United KingdomI understand it is a budget hotel, however, the very first no from me was the smell of cigarettes as soon as we entered the room. As a non- smoker, this bothered me a lot. Great amount of scuff and scratch marks on the walls and furniture, giving it an overall unpleasant feeling. The shower curtain was completely orange at the bottom. I'd say hygiene can and should definitely improve.
Good location and the staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was also great with a large variety of things to eat available to choose from.

SloveniaI have no major comments. Maybe it's just that there was a bit of an unpleasant smell in our room, because of which we had to air the room several times.
Very friendly staff, they helped us with all our questions. They have their own parking garage, which helped us a lot because it was snowing outside and we could park the car under the roof. In addition, they let us leave the car there even before our check-in.

Czech RepublicThe problem is when you have somebody above your room and he/she walks in the room - it makes a drum noise as the ceilings/floors are made from something not suitable and so steps or hits really resonate. During summer are rooms very hot as there is not A/C. Carpet and curtains are already a bit odd.
I like they have a garage, it is close to my office, economic price, breakfast available, easy check in, efficient.

SerbiaWalls in the room are a little bit dirty from baggage, there is not fridge in the room, wooden furniture is worn out, but all of that isn't so problematic.
Location is very good, between two u bahn stations, excellent connection to the city centre. Hotel is in quiet part of city. Staff is extremly kind. It's quiet place for resting. Beds are very comfortable. There is always hot water. Buffet breakfast is good, food offering is decent.

IsraelBreakfast: plain, not much variety. Worse, it was always cold -- eggs were cold, coffee was barely tepid, and so on. No napkins anywhere! And sometimes not enough utensils for guests. In the room, though there was a kettle, there were no cups -- nothing to drink out of!
Close to U3 station. Parking is not free but not expensive either. Large rooms, apartments really, bath and balcony in each. Lots of shelve space, enough sitting places, electric sockets, etc. Clean enough. It's true about stains on carpets but didn't bother us. Electric kettle and stove in each room and a mini-fridge.
