After a long day on the motorbike we were expecting to have a dinner at the hotel but the restaurant did not serve food - that was a dissapoinment. There was only one pub in the village where we could have at least something to eat =sausages...

Breakfast was really good, the host and his cat were very friendly. The village was really really quiet..

a nice family business with friendly and patient introductions/suggestions on a lot of touristic information. the room is clean, convenient and the breakfast was with fresh fruits and a lot of choices. which is wonderful! surround this area, there are quite a few burgruines to see, which are amazing, with spectacular views.

    We liked everything

We wanted a quiet place to spend new year's eve, away from crowds and noise. This was the ideal place. The surroundings are beautiful, including a castle ruin nearby, vineyards, and streams. The hosts are super friendly, the room was perfect, the breakfast was delicious (try their home-made apricot jam!), the wi-fi was good, and the price was very reasonable. From there it was easy to begin a trip through the Wachau Valley the next day.

Wonderful location on the pilgrimage way to Mariazell and near a nice ruin of an old castle. Beautiful apricot orchard, home made jam for breakfast. Very friendly welcome by the landlord.

Well, beds were too soft for our taste. Hallways carpeting is ready to be replaced.

The owners Leo and Gabi extra helpful, got plenty tips what to do for two days of staying. Coming back late from Krems, the bus driver made stop for us in front of penzion. Breakfast with home made appricots marmeled and baked pie and glass of red wine made my day.

It can be hard to find the place - check the address before! It is on the main street but all buildings look similar.

Very helpful staff, always ready provide you with what you need. Calm location in a small city. There is a little garden in front of the building where you can have a pick-nick or a glass of wine. Parking is provided in a small street which goes along the penzion.

    I liked everything.

Leo, Gabby and daughter Isabella are the family owners and wonderful hosts of this very special guest house. This is really a home away from home. Sentfenberg where the guest house is located is the most beautiful town I have been to in Austria, especially in April, when all the spring blossoms are blooming. The room and bed are really comfortable and overlooks the historic building across the road and the lovely trees in bloom. There are plants at the throughout the guest house too and in the garden. Breakfast is a delicious banquet with fruit, salad, spreads, muesli, yogurt, bread, cheeses, cold meats and a variety of spreads. Gabby makes fantastic scrambled eggs and the delicious apricot jam on the table. The WiFi is fast and it always worked. There are some wonderful walks around town and beside the river from the guest house. Thank you Leo, Gabby and Isabella for a wonderful time at your lovely guest house.

A nice, cosy place with very friendly hosts, ready to help even in matters outside regular accommodation issues (like, e.g. settling a problem of a parking ticket ;) - thanks again, Leo). The location great for people looking for places "far from the maddening crowd". The host speaks good English - a definite advantage.

There was one night when the wifi went down (could be a provider issue because wifi was normally strong). Other than that, all is good.

    - Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating owner/staff. Family atmosphere, gracious hosts. - Location - Wifi (strong) - Breakfast buffet was ample but delicious. - Clean rooms and bathrooms - Nice garden

Nothing to complain about at all!

The hotel owners and staff are wonderfully friendly and made us feel really at home with good english. The room was lovely and the hotel friendly and with a local feel that you don't get at big chains. The area is absolutely gorgeous - don't stay at a big chain, this is only a few km out of Krems and we really recommend it!
