Very friendly and welcoming, excellent service. A big, warm, quiet and comfortable room with a large, clean bathroom, plus the shower was very pleasant to use. Right next to the bus stop so very convenient for getting to Salzburg, less than 20 minutes each way and they run very frequently. We didn't use the restaurant at breakfast or dinner, but the seating area (inside and outside) looked very nice.

Hotel was at the end very good (room are comfort, big enough and clean). Hotel have a parking which is a good option because there is bus station only 2 minutes by walk from hotel.

For me it is not the issue, but for some could be - there is the main road alongside the building where accomodation is. So some rooms has windows just to the side where the road is. But in the night there were almost no traffic. And we have been noted from the lady for this in advance and count with this fact. I have nothing more to say there, everything was great.

Lady who organize our stay was kind and polite. We were late for more than hour and lady was able to wait for us - we are sorry again to come late. After arrival we have got documents to fill-in, keys and instruction how to get to our rooms. Rooms were clean and prepared. Wi-Fi for free with password provided on the rooms. Beds anf pillows comfortable to sleep on. Mattress middle soft. There is also refrigerator on the hall - maybe shared for all rooms together - we do not know, as we have not asked. We have found refrigerator next day morning and did not asked as we stayed just for one night and in the morning we came away. Breakfast was great. Served by the same lady who meets us at the reception. We had been served by soft boiled (runny yolk) eggs, hot drink (coffee or tea was choice) or cold drinks (orange juice or water), vegetables, fruit, cereals, jams, honey, butter, sliced cheese, sliced ham and hard salame, fresh warm baked goods. Cereals with milk or yoghurt could be chosen from ready to eat one or we can make our own mix (raisins, linseeds, corn-flakes, two types of yoghurt, different chrunchy mueslies, etc. Really wide range of variable dishes.

A bit higway noise. It is close to high way, but it is not surprise, because hotel manager informed us before we arrive the guest house.

Great guest house, near to cosy village.Supeior hospitality, clean and wide room.Delicous breakfast accompanied by birdsongs in a peaceful saloon.Location is great if you are driving from Vienna direction by a car. There is a bus station so close to guest house. So it is so easy to arrive to Salzburg by bus. On other hand great hub point to visit lakes which has clear water arround this region.It was a wonderful feeling to drive serenely through hundreds of farms among lush forests and pastures.

Our stay at Gashof Zur Strass was great! The lady at the reception was really nice and friendly, the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is right next to the bus stop for bus lines 130/140 that connects you from the hotel to Salzburg city center in 15-20 mins..

It was a beautiful property with the nicest of owners! The amenities weren’t available while we were there but it was only a short overnight stay. Lots of restaurants nearby, very clean room, and the water pressure was phenomenal. Very kid friendly also.
