I rate negative that on sunday was kitchen and restaurant closed. Also, those rooms are probably looking a bit ,,rusty,,, unfinished, but for the price it is something weird to have a wall with big cracks or old barely functioning window.

The hotel is situated near centre, offers a great food and cozy rooms.

The staff were very helpful and solicitous. The decor was funky and stylish. Breakfast was lush and the location could not really be improved.

The decoration in the room, the unfinished, 'distressed' look. I also did not like the bathroom facilities. There was no privacy at all when using the basin. There was no storage facilities either, nowhere to unpack your suitcase.

Honestly, nothing was bad. Maybe just a small flaw was that the bathroom glass door hinge made a weird noise and it sounded like it would break at any moment, other than that everything was lovely!!!!

Excellent room, comfy beds and very nice location. Honestly it exceeded my expectations. The breakfast buffet was amazing too. The room is chic and beautiful, plus they are pet-friendly which I really appreciate.

Perfect classy place for weekend getaway, rooms were large, interestingly designed, with modern twist to classic grand hotels. Reception service was great, helpful, present and always ready to explain something with a smile. Beds were great, cosy and really large. There is also a turkish sauna and a gym, included in the price.

Our room had a shower only; we would have preferred a bathtub as well. Also, we would have welcomed more working sockets for our chargers and other electrical gear. Otherwise, we had no problems or complaints at all.

We very much enjoyed our two-night stay at this attractive, historic and comfortable hotel in the beautiful and interesting city of Graz. The location is excellent, a short tram ride from the main train station and with the scenic part of the city in easy walking distance. We had a spacious room with a view of the river. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was truly outstanding

Wi-Fi in room useless unless I sat in the toilet! I didn't enjoy getting stuck in the elevator. Was surprised that threstaurant and bar closed on Sundays - it did not seem to mention that anywhere.

Most of the staff were excellent, particularly the bar staff. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel car park is charged at a 50% higher rate to those who book through Booking.com than to guests who book directly with the hotel. And it is rather expensive parking. No doubt this is aimed at encouraging direct bookings.This higher charge for Booking.com users was not made clear on the Booking.com site. Discovering this when checking out was an unpleasant surprise and while not a big deal in the greater scheme of things, it was an irritation. More customer focused communication about this by the hotel would have helped. The hotel breakfast seemed expensive compared to the excellent breakfast cafes beside and behind the hotel. The wifi in our room was only just functional.
