Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The weather but the hotel can’t help that.
The hotel was perfect for our needs. An easy walk from the train station. Lockers to leave our bag while we went exploring. It rained a lot during our visit and we were able to borrow an umbrella. Staff at reception were lovely and breakfast spread was great.

Staff were able to give little information. We were looking for somewhere to eat one evening..they weren't able to recommend a place.

the ventilation in the bathroom was extremely loud, sounded like the plane engine starting. Luckily, it switched off as soon as the lights were off.
the breakfast was pretty good, enough to actually have a good meal as a start of the day. I was checking it late after 10 pm, so reception was close, but they provided me clear instructions on self-check-in and it was very fast and easy

Bedroom wings sterile (ie just plain hospital like corridors). Rooms quite good but, again, only walk in shower with no safety hand rails (for the elderly) - no bath - no towel rails etc. Could be so much better if designs, decor, paintings, flooring etc coordinated by experienced designer instead of young and inexperienced 'straight line' architects in their twenties !

The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre, so ideally situated for seeing all the sights. Can highly recommend.

The only downside was the low pressure of the water in the shower. The shower head should have been replaced long time ago.
Great location everything in walking distance. Nice underground garage that you can take your language directly to your floor through the elevator. Nice breakfast and they offer water coffee and tea in the elevator.

The breakfast buffet was just average. There was a good selection of bread, cheese and cold cuts, but we missed more choice of fresh fruit and/or sweets.
Excellent location, just at the beginning of one of the main commercial streets in Salzburg. The room was clean and comfortable, and the noise isolation is great, so you are unlikely to be disturbed by noise from the street or other rooms.

There was nothing I didn't like.
The location was very central, allowing us to access everywhere on foot. Breakfast was excellent, served in good surroundings, which allowed us to eat in the courtyard in the good weather. The room was fantastic, bright and clean. Staff were very helpful.

Staff was not very pleasant and rooms dint have kettle and fridge which was important to us. We have to go to lobby for both.
The Location of the hotel was really good and close to major view points. Rooms were spacious and kids enjoyed every bit.

I only wish there were more fresh vegetables at breakfast, now there were only some bell peppers.
Clean and adequate room with comfortable bed. Location is pretty good and quiet, just a 5 min walk to the river. Breakfast had a typical variety with breads and spreads, cold cuts and yoghurts, porridge and eggs. Breakfast room was extremely busy, but the staff were luckily efficient clearing dirty dishes.

Nothing as such . But It would be more better if we can still control the temperature of the AC in the rooms .
This hotel is located at the perfect location , close to many of the tourist attraction within walking distance . The breakfast is really good . I appreciate the cooperation form the staffs , they are very approaching and helpful .
