How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Verified reviewVery nice location, very good spa, friendly staff members. Good breakfast.
The rooms need a renovation. At least ours felt old for the price and not very well distributed. Sauna area and spa very good, outdoor pool ok. The food they offer at the snack bar could be better as well.

Verified reviewThe spa, gym and pool are very good for a 4 star. Staff are all very friendly. Breakfast was delicious
Nothing else in the hotel is 4 star, other than the spa. The rooms and service is 3 star (staff are lovely but they are very understaffed- waited two days for an iron and 4 hrs for a pillow). Also there is a big smoking culture in the hotel, there is an indoor smoking lounge and they sell cigars, so if its summer and you have your windows/door open, you room will smell of smoke. Also right next to a busy road which impacts the mountain vibe. Also no air con - hot in summer.

Verified reviewGood facilities! The spa area was very well setup, good fitness suite and the restaurant served really great food.
The location is not the best. Although it is close to one of the ski lifts and funicular, it is set by this main road which makes the rooms to the front very exposed to the heavy traffic noise. Also, the internet WiFi signal is very poor throughout the facility, specially in the bedroom, so, if like me, you are using your holidays to make some work planning or just want to access your Netflix account to watch a movie than it is not ideal.

Verified reviewReally liked the spa facilities, excellent! Breakfast altough seemed a lot, because we dont eat pork or ham based products we could not have any meat in our omelettes or no sausages etc Room - we had major internet problems on the first two days but then it seemed sorted, i asked for a room with a walk in shower, my colleague had just died a week before from a fall, i have bursitis and was told i need to pay another 1000 pounds for another room, which i could not do. So because i did not indicate at the beginning there was nothing they were willing to do other than me pay a lot of more money to stay. this was very disappointing for sucha hotel. The bath is very high and hence i could not get into the bath to shower without my husbands help, which is really not acceptable at all. This was very disappointing.
The shower over a very high bath

Verified reviewPools and spa zone was amazing.
Our room was with a "mountain view". It was located one floor up to the personal and delivery entrance, so in the morning 8-11 it was too loud- delivery cars and waste container collecting- couldn't sleep and got headache.

Verified reviewThe view from the room, the parking garage and the bed. Nice gym .
Out room was right at the end where delivery is to the kitchen, very loud early and Late Night. The bathtub water supply was blocked by the shower glass, very hard to reach, the bread and roll choice not good, there is a great baker in town who delivers other hotels too. I waited for second coffee that never came, breakfast was ok, nothing really special. Kids with shoes in the furniture and nobody seemed to care.

Verified reviewNice amenities including sauna, pool, infrared room etc. breakfast was excellent with hot and cold dishes. Service was great, rooms big and cleaned everyday
We were the only ones with young kid at the time we stayed so we felt out of place in most areas as it seemed like it catered to adults mostly

Verified reviewThe location is excellent if you want to go hiking during the summer. The rail schuttles are around the corner. The reception was also very nice and helpful. The spa was also great addition. The town of seefeld is very close and cute so it’s a great place to find a good dinner.
The food and restaurant is not good at all, we ate there the first night and where feeling really bad after and with it costing 45 euro was so not worth the money. The menu is very confusing which is also true for the hotel, the interior design is highly confusing which does not give the impression of well put together 4 star establishment. No coffee/te kettle in the room or iron. So the room was very bare with only the necessities which in my opinion does not constitute 4 star.

Verified reviewThe suite was large and comfortable. The spa is the highlight of the Hotel
The room interiors are very old and run down with red carpets and beige furniture; the washroom were small; there were no frills in the room, there was no room service; the lunch option in Hotel was very limited.
