Asked for a twin room but were given 1dble with bunk bed. But room was spacious, so tolerated the narrowness of the bunk. Slept well in spite of.

The beds could be more comfortable. They definitely need to improve the walls. The couple next door got up early and I could hear every word. Not very helpful for a good sleep.

Location, very nice staff, good value for money. Breakfast was also quite good. Toast around the clock, that is really helpful for those who arrive late, because everything else will be closed then, although its close to the main train station.

Compared with other ibis hotels, this one seems to be a bit worn out and tired. Rooms are somewhat bleak and most importantly, it was quite cold (this is a known issue, a limited number of mobile heaters is available at reception), so probably not the first choice in winter (it was around zero degrees outside).

Good location if you wish to be close to the station (the historic city centre is about 20 minutes walk from here). Staff was very helpful, check-in and check-out very quick.

Very close to Grazs Hbf. If you come very late, it is better choice. There is SPAR supermarket in the station too. It is near bus station also. You can travel to Ljubljana or Zagreb by bus here. If you come in the day time, the cheapee way is Ibis budget in Graz city.

Since it is part of a hotel chain, it is all standardised (restrooms, rooms, etc). The staff (in particular a boy) was not very comprehensive when we arrived. He didn't show us the information we needed and he was pretty quick (perhaps he was about to finish his shift or he had to take his lunch break :-D ). The hotel provide a breakfast, but it costs 15 euro per person: so too much for a breakfast !!!:-( Nowadays hotels should provide free breakfast, included in the room price. Please don't go to the coffee bar right next to the hotel: the staff is really annoyed to serve his customers and the breakfast was disgusting and tooooo expensive. An orange juice, two coffee, and a croissant: 18 euros!!!!

The hotel is very modern and pretty comfortable.

Any issues that occured have been addressed immediately by the staff, so basically non-existent for my stay.

First of all, let me praise the front desk staff, the colleagues on duty during my stay were exceptionally helpful, professional and have done all to make my stay comfortable. Also the lady at breakfast was very nice. Many thanks again! The hotel is in a very convenient location right outside the main railway station. The area seemed safe and in order even late at night. The breakfast was very good with lots of options not everywhere available: fresh waffle, veggies...also tasty and good quality. I also liked the modern breakfast room with view to the square. The bed and pillows were very comfortable (thick pillow, also convenient if you sleep on your side). I recommend this hotel!

The entrance to the hotel is pretty inconspicuous. It is located inside an ugly multi-purpose building. In fact the whole square where the hotel is situated (Europaplatz) is bordered by some of the ugliest buildings ever built. Breakfast was very average, with the usual inedible scrambled eggs. The breakfast room looks like it was planned for a youth hostel. Rows of common tables. Very uncosy.

The location right next to the main train station. The most important sights of Graz - the Old Town and Schloss Eggenberg - can be reached directly via tram in 10-15 minutes.

The WIFI facility provided is a disaster. Even though I have paid the 19 EURO add-on price for the premium broad band service, the connection was most of the time very poor or non-existant at all. Budget-hotel or not, but if they sell a PREMIUM-Service for additional money, they have to delivery which clearly they did not. Wifi access is meanwhile an absolute must, particulary in a hotel that targets business travellers. Otherwise it is a rip-off.

I rate according to value for money. From that point of view in general this hotel is very good. It is well located with excellent access to public transport, particularly the tram that brings you rapidly to the town centres.

Walking from the underground car park to the hotel and being offered cocaine was not what I wanted my kids to hear. 2 - Being told in the lift that there was building work starting at 7am was too late. If I had known this then we would not have booked this place. My kids were awake very early. 3 - There was not an onsite restaurant even though there was a breakfast restaurant.
