The IBIS hotel is located directly across the road from the train station and is a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The room is comforrtable, but a bit basic. For example, there was no safe or fridge.

The beds are hard to sleep on it and the toilet is very small and the entire room. Very very small for 2 persons. It’s hard to move around and stay comfortable. The check in was very long. We waited for about 20 minutes just to be able to get everything and be in the room. No drinks offer and informations about the facilities and opening of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall out of 10 I’ll rate it 4

Check-in and check-out were rather slow.

Easy to reach from the railway station, just a few minutes walking. Friendly staff. Hotel public areas and room were all very modern and clean. Comfortable bed, and the windows kept out the noise from the nearby road and station effectively so we slept very well. The city center starts within 10 minutes walk.

Location is very good. Just opposite side from linz hauptbanhof. I love the color of the room and inside the hotel. There's various kinds of jam, ham, cheese and bread in breakfast.

I have stayed here before. It is a very good safe hotel, excellent mattresses good sleep very comfortable. Very helpful polite staff. With a very good breakfast. The location is right by the main rail station which is most convenient but you cannot hear any noise or vibrations. When I visit Linz again this is where one would make a point of staying. In a nut shell most convenient .

Very good location - the hotel is right opposite the railway station and also 10 mins walk to the inner city. The staff at reception were very kind and helpful, we could easily check in. First the duvet seemed very small for 2 persons, but there is an extra duvet in the cupboard. Parking is underneath the hotel for 8 euro/ 24h. Clean room and bathroom.

Always going to be difficult coming from the UK expectation of no smoking anywhere inside public buildings to finding places where smoking is tolerated in some areas.

The City Ibis at Linz is well placed near the city centre and transport links around the region. The airport is 20 minutes by taxi. It is a good budget range hotel with excellent facilities and helpful staff. The restaurant is good for breakfast and evening meals. Walking to the city centre or business district is easy.

Our stay at the Ibis in Linz was great. We appreciated the location, it's less than a 5min walk to the train station and about 10-15 mins to the city centre. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quite spacious. The wifi worked well. The check out time is 12 which comes in handy if you need to catch up with some sleep after a long journey. We would gladly stay again!

No electrical kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities in rooms.

Practical, simple accomodation opposite the main railway station (however, the area is quite pleasant and safe), within walking distance to the city center, varied breakfast, pleasant staff - it wasn´t a problem to leave luggage after check-out. The room is nothing much, chairs very cheap and hard, but for a few nights it´s enough - beds were satisfactory for a night or two (although the "double bed" seemed really two beds together.) The area seems well-connected by public transport, but we still didn´t hear much noise from the street, even though we left the window open in the summer for fresh air.

The breakfast here was too expensive because a lot of people stuff themselves for day instead of eating sensibly. A cafe by the station was fine. The hotels is a bot out of town, and you need a tram to get into the centre or walk 20 minutes.

If you book an Ibis hotel anywhere apart from France you can be pretty sure you will gat the same deal. A fair sized room with a comfortable bed. But you only get two proper towels and they are nor really enough. In France you get rooms half the size. I don't use Ibis in France,

The hotel is located near the train station, which I thought would be loud and busy, but was not. It has an underground car park just in front of the hotel, for which you will need a card that the hotel staff give to you upon checking in. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The city centre is only 15-20 min away on foot, and the walk there is nice and quiet. The best thing about this hotel is that it's not in the city centre and you get some quiet time off (loud) tourists. The room and the bathroom were very clean.

No snacks at night. A vending machine would be good. Telling guests to walk to the train station to get a coke or chips, is maybe not the best option for service. Put in a machine or two with snacks and cold beverages; or offer the service it at reception....And make some revenue....I stay in a lot of Accor Hotels, they all have offered snacks either in machines or at the desk. Otherwise, a very nice stay and I'll be back in a few weeks. Bathroom towels could be softer. They feel a little like cardboard. But that is just me being fussy! lol.

Staff very friendly. Quick check-in upon arrival. Room kept very clean. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in shower. Nice interior hotel environment. Near to the train station.

The price is too high for what they offer. The room does not have a refrigerator, the hair drier is inefficient for long hair, the room does not have independent air conditioning or heat, it is part of the general hotel system, so if you want more heat or cold it will be a problem. All the room was clean but I think in the bathroom they should do more, and they should include face towels on the list .
