The owner appeared to spend several hours in the bar with friends smoking. . The smoke spread out through the lobby and the restaurant. It was quite unpleasant

    Everything was fine.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant and the room was quite nice. The Carinthia Card for the gondola was also included in the room price.

The swimming pool was too cold so we didn't use it too long. The heating was not on in the room so it was quite chilly. The room was a bit outdated.

The location of the hotel was perfect to explore Großlockner and its surrounding. The staff was flexible.

Get ready for an early meal, because everywhere in town, you can not have dinner after 8.30 pm. On our last day we could not eat anywhere, because all the restaurants and hotels were not accepting new guests at 9 pm. Otherwise very charming little town.

Good location, nice breakfast, great pool, very relaxing. We loved it. Highly recommended.

Pillows very soft, almost like non existent. Second pillow needed for the bed. Bigger towels would be a plus.

    Location and staff - fabulous!

There was a very strong smell of cigarettes in the front bar when you walk in, but luckily dinner and breakfast were served in a large room overlooking the river.

we had a room with a balcony overlooking the river which was lovely. We didn't use the pool but it looked good. It was a fairly easy walk up to the main part of town from the hotel. There was a good supermarket opposite the hotel. We paid for half board to have a evening meal which was good, but a little bit confusing to know what we were getting when we ordered from the set menu in the afternoon when we arrived, but they were very accommodating with my daughter who is vegan and gave her a plate of vegetables.

    Wifi only in lobby.

A wonderful location at the base of the mountain. Beautiful aqua blue stream directly out back. Hotel situated on beautiful grounds and there comfortable seating outdoors or indoors to enjoy the view.
