How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Lack of coffee in room. No access to food in hotel in evening and the area does not have a range of eating and drinking opportunities.

Regarding the negative point, there was no fridge. Also, there was no iron to prepare my shirt for the meeting. Also, the location was a bit far from the city center, but, the public transport was great, even until late at night (24 p.m.).
The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The bathroom was also clean. The room's bed was carpeted, so the feeling was good, and I did not need sandals.

Our only complaint is the bread was served cold and there was no toaster.
We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. The room was quite spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful. Whenever you visit the country the first people you meet are the hotel staff. If they are friendly, nice, helpful you start falling in love with that country. The same thing happened to us. Breakfast was OK no complaints. I would love to visit Austria again next year and will stay in this hotel. Thank you team Klimt for making our stay memorable.

Location is super far out and honestly as a solo female traveler I was a little scared going back alone at night. I did ask the reception who said that it’s safe and she walks alone a lot, but it just passed bridges/areas without a lot of light with little to no people seen on the streets. Also for the price it’s a little older than I expected
Breakfast had a nice selection! I like the decor too

The location was far away from the city centre; however, there are multiple modes of transportation, and the price is very good for what you're getting.
The room was very cute for a romantic getaway, the bathroom was very nice and comfortable, the location was quiet and suitable for a calm weekend away.

Only one working tv channel, but on the plus side, there were netflix and youtube.
Hotel was clean and private, beds were comfortable. I had opportunity to go in and out at any time. The location was great. Public transport stop was around 300m and food shop was only 350m far away. Few pizzerias and burger places are also near. Neighborhood was silent. Good fast wifi.

Location is not great, quite far from the centre. Metro 12-15 min walk, so it takes a while to reach the main Vienna attractions.
Very nice room with enough space for 4 persons; nicely furnished; very good breakfast with good coffee.

Unstable and unworking Wi-Fi during the stay. The hotel staff did try to fix the issue, but not much improvements. Walls are thin, so you can hear a lot from the outside and the loud hotel's entrance door. Amazing hotel and rooms, but Wi-Fi issues are definitely why it's not a 10.
Great room, clean and comfortable. Spacious and new. Excellent for the price.

What I didn't like is that for two days they woke us up from 7:00 in the morning for work they did at the hotel while they had been informed.

The breakfast was over-priced and was of only moderate quality of rather uninteresting food. The coffee was mediocre (this is Vienna!) There was no on-site restaurant facility beyond breakfast. The WiFi was more or less unusable from my room.
Room: Not really spacious but perfect for my needs. Quiet: enough room for luggage and a nice closet for clothes, always high-pressure warm water, very comfortable bed. Absolutely great staff. Solid wood doors, tall ceilings—classic. Plenty of light and a nice neighborhoodly view out the window.
