Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was so hot in the room and the air-con is not working properly. The bed and pillows is not that comfortable. We had an early flight for the next day and didn’t sleep properly.
Property has a very good location. Very convenient to everything. The check in process was smooth and easy. Thanks to Piro who accommodated us, she was very warm and helpful.

The bed was a bit smaller than I expected. Also the mattress was too hard. The main problem was the window, where only one part of it was openable and movebale. Also, we weren't given any additional blankets.
The location of the hotel was very flexible and made it quite easy for us to schedule our trip through Wien. The staff, especially Aleksandar from the front desk, was very friendly and helpful. The room was cute and clean. The bathroom was exceptional, especially with the lighting and the mirrors.

Parking is not close to the hotel (maybe 10 min walk). The room was very hot.
Near to centrum - 25 min walk or 5 min with car. Great facility. excellent and very clean room.

Shampoo and slippers were sold at the reception, it would be nicer to have them in the room but we came prepared so it wasn’t a big deal.
The room was big and nice. The staff was helpful. It isn’t exactly in the city center but very close to public transport and in Vienna it’s very easy to go to the main attractions. Overall it was clean and comfortable.

Nothing to really complain about however, something we weren’t aware about was that we arrived early for our check in and the receptionist told us that our room was ready but we would need to pay €25 to access early. Also you need to pay an additional 3€ to store luggages in a room. Never experienced that before but its not really an issue

The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The city center is close, downtown is easily accessible with a relatively short walk (~20 min). The neighborhood is completely safe.

Did not like the big and flat pillows. Double the size of standard pillows, half the thickness.
Room is nice, with modern amenities like other chain hotels. Bed is comfy, even the one converted from sofa. Staff is professional and friendly. Location is decent, walkable to main tourist attractions.

The staff was unwelcoming and arrogant, apart from the lovely lady who assisted us upon our check-out. It doesn't hurt to smile and be pleasant, it is your job after all.
Close to the City Centre. Beautiful room equipped with all room facilities. Perfect in every way. Great value for money.

The room was extremely hot even without additional air conditioning which made sleeping a bit difficult. The beds and pillows were very soft for my taste and I slept poorly all of the nights. Also, there is an additional charge if you need to use the storage room for you luggage on checkout.
The room was bigger than expected and the price for this time of the year was very reasonable. It's on 20 minutes walk from the city center which is good depending on the weather conditions. The area was quiet, there is a supermarket nearby.
