We were disappointed that there were so few paintings and other wall decorations either in the room itself or along the corridors. This made the room look a little drab. Also, there were no drawers in the room, just a few high open shelves. We would normally expect bedside drawers rather than a table, or a set of drawers elsewhere in the room.

(1) The hotel is ideally situated for most of the major attractions; (2) The staff were excellent. In particular, the breakfast serving staff were friendly, courteous, helpful but unobtrusive. Front-desk staff were professional and helpful, and Housekeeping staff were friendly (though arrived perhaps a bit late in the day); (3) the bed was very comfortable and the hotel /room was well heated throughout; (4) we liked the idea of receiving free drinks in exchange for no housekeeping on a specified day; (5) Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection of hot and cold meals and different breads

My only concern was the very weak air conditioning in the room. I experienced the same elsewhere in Europe but for a 5-star hotel and at the price you pay, I expected the air con to be strong enough to cool the room especially at night.

Location. Do not look twice, just book this hotel! You will be walking distance from the museum quarter, opera house, Hofburg Palace, and sooo much more.

We are all used to using towels and sheets for several days to protect the environment. But this hotel has a scheme whereby you get a drinks' discount in exchange for not having the room cleaned at all on certain days. We said a firm 'no' to this as it is obviously about cutting staff hours and boosting sales at the bar. But the hotel gave it to us anyway. We returned Saturday to a room that hadn't even been tidied up and it took several phone calls and a lot of agitation before they finally agreed to clean the room some 90 minutes later.

This is great hotel in a good location. The breakfast is superb.

Absolutely one of the best locations possible for a visit to the Vienna highlights (Opera, Hufburg, Museums). Very comfy rooms with excellent lay-out. Direct connection from car garage to hotel.

Our room was difficult to find because I think the hotel is a combination of 3 separate buildings. It would be helpful for the front desk to give some map for these hard-to-reach rooms! We went through several hallways, doors, turns, and went up and down stairs before finally finding the room at the very end.

Good hearty breakfast buffet, plus fun bar and restaurant on site! The rooms are wonderful, very comfortable, clean and modern. The location is great! Right across the street from the Hofburg Palace and walking distance to the museums quarter, Karlsplatz, Stefansplatz, Rathaus, etc. We stayed during the Christmas season, which was perfect because we could reach 6 Christmas markets with just a short walk from the hotel.

I used to stop here often. This was a luxury hotel, now everything has changed for the worse, there are no coffee machines in the rooms, instead there are bags of cheap disgusting coffee, one small bottle of water and no mini bar. Shower cap and other usual little things on request. It's good that there is toilet paper - without request. Breakfast is at the level of an ordinary 4 star hotel, there is not even fresh juice or poached eggs. But the coffee does not come from bags, and thank you very much for that. The housekeeper entered our room without knocking at 8 am, looked at me and giggled and left.

Unfortunately the swimming pool and jacuzzi were not working and that was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. The hallway on on levels was boiling hot. Our window was very drafty.

The upgraded room was with a rooftop terrace... due to the wind the textile shades.made a huge noise on the metallic structure. When we made a complaint to the desk they did not made a thing about it. The parking is very expensive (49/day) and 5 more EUR for the wallet parking...

It doesn’t feel like a 5* hotel. It is comfortable and clean, but needs some updates and improvements. Shower is one example- very weird glass wall towards the room so no privacy. No mini-bar in the room, coffee was some very unimpressive instant thing that was not even refreshed during the 5 days we stayed there. Breakfast was not included in the already high room price and if you wanted to get it on the spot the fee was absurd.

One issue I had was that here wasn’t a concierge to help organize your stay as a tourist.

The hotel is in the best location in Vienna to visit the key sites. The staff is super nice and professional. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quite large for center city hotel rooms.
