There was nothing I disliked.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There was a very delicious breakfast buffet with everything you could wish for and a great view too. The location was even better than we had hoped for. The castle is definitely a sight to see. The rooms are very clean and good. Parking spaces are also great. This was an extraordinarily nice family trip to Salzburg. The walk into the city is also worth seeing and doable.

It's position outside but within walking distance from the town center. The amazing garden, the setting on the lake. We liked breakfast and the breakfast room!!

It was a 30 minute walk from the town which was fine for us as we love to walk and it was lovely scenery but some may find it a little far

Bartender and reception people are the same the night I went to the bar. If they are busy, it takes time for them to serve in the bar. Lack of a restaurant and room service.

The room was a basic room, not in the building of the palace which was dissapointing. The building that the room was at, was a bit old, and not very well preserved. There was only a little cafe to grab a drink on the groundfloor. Nothing to eat in the evening. Staff were okay. Communication among staff seemed a bit vague. For a hotel like that and for the price you pay I would except a nicer bar, with actual waiter and not the receptionist to serve you a drink. Also, some food along with the drinks would be a nice to have, even if it would be a sandwich or so. Not value for money the room, the building and the cafe.

The breakfast room was in the palace building. A marvelous building infront of a gorgeous lake. Amazing breakfast and service! Location was great if you have a car and you can move around. Plenty of parking. Fantastix place to relax and have walks by the lake VAlue for money the location by the lake and the breakfast.

Absolutely loved out stay at Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron! The hotel and grounds are gorgeous, the location is convenient, but the delicious breakfast buffet may have been the best part!

The lift was situated a long way from our room.

The location was excellent with great views over the lake of snow capped mountains in the distance, made all the more special by its links to the filming of The Sound of Music. There was a superb breakfast buffet and the attentive staff kept our drinks topped up. The room we stayed in was comfortable and warm.

Where can i start? Absolutely stunning. Wether you are a fan of Sound of Music or Mozart or just Salzburg itself this place is just simply breathtaking! Schloss Leopoldskorn has it all, location, history, culture and service. For the price it just cant be beaten. What a privilege to stay here. The staff is absolutely loevly and i can not express my gratitude for the kindness and excellent service from Julie who is really lovely and professional and from Pia ( the one that looks like Julie Andrews from The Sound of Music!😁) who has such a pleasant aura. Many thanks to the 2 gentlemen from the engineering department. So kind. I must also not forget the lovely team of the F&B department at breakfast, really friendly and polite. Rest assured, having worked at The Four Seasons hotels and The Mandarin Oriental hotels this place and its team was fantastic! I can not wait to return soon again! There is a small cafe at the hotel,which doesnt offer much, but was ok.There isnt any area to have a drink/coffee by the lake out of breakfast hours, but we already knew that beforehand.

We already knew we were paying for the amazing location by the lake, so as expected rooms were ok but overpriced.Service is excellent and if you have a car I would stronlgy suggest to book there, it is same money but a whole different experience. Breakfast is amazing and it takes place in a medieval room with a view to tha lake/mountains.There are 3 restaurants within walking/driving distance but we didnt try them.It is dog friendly and the outdoors there is beyond perfect.Rooms are cosy,clean and well-heated,next time would pay a little bit more to have a view to the lake.The service is exquisite!
