How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Verified reviewThe breakfasts and dinners were delectable, and the cozy atmosphere along with the friendly staff made my stay even more enjoyable. The location was very convenient, being within walking distance to the train station and with the bus station just in front of the hotel. The view from my room was idyllic, and the complimentary spa access provided the perfect relaxation I was looking for on this holiday.
I can hear noises from the other room and the banging of doors.

Verified reviewThe desserts were excellent. The food too, except for the food on Christmas which was extremely slow and we didn't like it. We may have chosen the hotel anyway, but not as a ski in ski out. The staff was extremely nice and friendly.
First time we are skiing and have a bad experience. I would not call this ski in ski out. After an extremely long wait for the cable car near the hotel of much more than 30 minutes, we had to take a bus to a different cable car which was smooth, In addition, I ski red slopes and some easy blacks, and the ski in was closed, but when it is open it is black. The info about the hotel is misleading. It is a bus station drive from a find cable car to the resort. That's the truth. In addition, we chose the hotel because of the indoor and outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The swimming pools were extremely cold, again, first time that the pool in a ski hotel is too cold. The Jaccuzi was not suitable because people came in naked. The first time I ski and am so disappointed from the bad experience.

-very rude receptionist at wellness -bathroom has a small towel heater that is much too small for the size of the bathroom so it was always chilly in there. - too many spotlights in the bar and restaurant that were too bright. A pity as the bar lighting was otherwise beautiful. -rude hostess in a la carte restaurant who, when we told her our table light was broken, shrugged and said "yeah, they break after a while" and never replaced it. -the live musician in the lobby was much too loud so that one had to shout at eachother even when sitting as far away as possible. - hotel was closing for the season and they didn't inform us ahead of time so there was no food beyond breakfast on our last day- unacceptable for a 4*S hotel! -not enough little snacking items in the wellness area...could have nuts, dried fruit etc.

Verified review- Clean, modern, well-decorated rooms. - Great spa and wellness areas and service. - Excellent food. Abundant and delicious breakfast, afternoon snacks as well as a 6-course dinner or dinner buffet. Drinks and service at the bar were great too. - Superb service and hospitality. The personnel was accessible, attentive and helpful at any time. For example, I had a small incident where I hit and bruised my leg while exercising. I approached a lady in the reception, who immediately helped me by providing me a bag of ice.
The hotel is outstanding and I liked everything during my stay. However, I do have a recommendation or observation. I heard my friends commenting they would have preferred a warmer outdoor pool. During the evening, I observed some guests did not dare to enter the pool after touching the water. It was at 29°C, which is a fair temperature to me - but I like cool water. Perhaps the hotel might want to consider asking the guests' opinions and making the outdoor pool water warmer, especially in the evening, if the majority prefers it that way.

Pools are too cold, especially inside and they close too early. Dinner time is also too early. I mean these hotels should address younger guests too.

Verified reviewWe have been regular guests at this hotel for few years already visiting 3-4 times a year. Overall, we are very happy with everything the hotel offers. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the location is excellent. One of the highlights for us is the Halfboard option – the food is always of high quality, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The spa, although small, is well-equipped and provides a great experience. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and they remember us, which adds a personal touch to each stay. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, my experience with the outdoor "Stein Sauna" at this hotel was disappointing. The sauna was not hot enough, and the door was very short, which allowed cold air to seep in from underneath. It felt like the room was completely uninsulated, making it impossible to enjoy the sauna properly. I would recommend the spa management to increase the temperature and fix the door insulation to prevent cold drafts. Every time we’ve stayed in the hotel, we’ve noticed that no one ever uses this sauna, probably because it’s ineffective and just stays in a low heat mode all the time. It’s a shame, as with a few adjustments, this could be a much more enjoyable experience.
