Our room in the highest floor was not accessible by the elevator. There was a lot of lights in our room and they were all too strong. There was too hot in the pool area (35 degrees). Rooms with lake view are very very expensive.

Beautiful hotel above Grundlsee. Our room was quite small but cosy, with small kitchen and big balcony. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices even sparkling wine. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also very tasty. Big swimming pool with lake views is nice place to rest. Staff was also very friendly, they prepared baby cot for our daughter for free. We can recommend this place.

Amazing breakfast, location is simply wow surrounded by mountains n lake on one side. We had the dinner there as well which was very nice and different. Would like to come again n spend more time.

Our room was looking to the roof of the entrance area. The black bathroom doors are looking good but many fingprints from previous guest were visible

Parking was full due to holidays so was a challenge to find one.

Amazing place with incredible view like in fairytail, I think even better than in Halstatt. Very clean and fresh rooms after renovation Very well equipped kitchen (coffemachine, kettle but no tea, take with you)). Friendly personnel. Good breakfast with a lit of options. Free spa (sauna and pool). I would be happy to come again for a longer stay!

Nothing noticeable No food or restaurant around for lunch or dinner except Austria traditional food. Others restaurants required car which takes approximately 15 minutes drive throughout a beautiful road . Although you have small kitchenette in your room . You can buy your stuff and cook yourself

We were really impressed by the view, the room has an stunning view to the lake, the studio room was big, cozy furnished, very clean with comfortable and big bed. We've enjoyed an abundant breakfast buffet with a huge variety of options. The staff were attentive and responsive. Last but not least, we had great time during the dinner in a la cart restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were really delicious. We recommend a memorable desert: Salzburg Nockerl. It was the best one we've eaten, even better than the famous ones in Salzburg. Just a small tip for dinner: make an upfront reservation because the restaurant is almost anytime fully booked.

Availability for dinner at the hotel was extremely limited and when we tried to book for evenings in advance they were either fully booked or very limited availability. This was mainly due to the restaurant being very small for the size of the hotel or the complex itself which had chalets in addition to the hotel or they had a private function (at least on three occasions during our 7 night stay) and they would only open the restaurant for a very small number of hotel guests to have dinner. As places to eat were extremely limited around GRUNDLESEE, we spent time searching for alternative places for dinner. The swimming pool was tiny for the size of the hotel. Luckily we had extremely hot weather so were able to swim in the lake, but again as self catering guests were also allowed to use it, it was often very busy and noisy.

The hotel was located right on the edge of the lake with magnificent views. The breakfast was great with a good selection. The room was very modern and clean.

Parking always a struggle. Amenities few in room. Rooms serviced but all used dishes left in place. Generally very built up grounds: too many villas for grounds

THe price level is quite high. Plus there is no room for bicycles. There is a parking slot for bikes, but it is open air. THerefore I recommend to bring a good bike lock.

The breakfast was very good, the location was super if you like lakes surrounded by mountains :). But the price is quite high for this type of hotel, but it is also possible that it is a new price level in Austria. It is especially good if you like hiking or biking.

The rooms near the reception entrance where people sit outside and talk loudly, which made it difficult for us to sleep at night. The reception was not answering at night.

The view is spectacular. Rooms are very clean and has all the necessary amenities including microwave and a stove with all cooking and eating utensils.
