Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is nothing to report here.
- Clean rooms and the whole building inside out - THE OWNER - from the moment we've arrived till we've left - very polite and accommodating, helpful etc. even offered their garage to store our motorbikes for the night.. It literally felt like we're in someone's home rather than hotel. Amazing! - Good, quiet location - Sufficient breakfast

The pension has more than 100 years of history and is handled by the fifth generation:-). The rooms have been completely remodelled, and the value is comparable to that of 5* hotels. Thank you for having us!

The light in the bathroom turned on automatically which is a bit bothering if you go to the bathroom at night. There was an emergency exit sign above one the back door of the room
A great breakfast - a buffet with a wide variety, eggs prepared by your choice and hot beverages. The owner was very friendly and accommodated the breakfast time for us. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

A bit old-fashioned furniture.
Nice hotel for our one night stay on a way back home. Very nice and friendly owner. She gave us a tip that nearby is a garden with goats and our son loved feeding them over the fence. Kettle, tea and coffee shared in a hallway. Lots of leaflets what to do around. Tasty breakfast.

Nicely renovated rooms and bathrooms, everything is perfectly clean, the sound proofing is excellent! Modern furnishing with lots of storage space. Big TV, good wifi. Breakfast is superb with a great variety of foods. The host is very kind, speaks perfect English, and she even learnt some basic Hungarian as well. The private parking space behind the house is huge.

Breakfast was great and catered also for food intolerances. Rooms were also very clean. They were also very helpful with us, and they went out of their way to help us with a clothes accident, which we really appreciated. Thanks for making our holiday special.

Very nice and clean place with very helpful personal! We were here with 2 kids, 1 and 3 years, of age and we all enjoyed our stay here. Rooms and bathroom was modern and very clean. Seems like it was renovated recently. Breakfast was perfect!

The room was situated in the attic and as the weather was warm, there was pretty hot inside as well… when we opened the window it led to the main road, so it was too noisy to sleep.
The owner was nice and helpful, therefore we felt there very welcome. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade jams.

It is situated a little way out of the town but it was nice to walk and not a big issue.
Christine and her mother are fabulous hosts - very friendly , and helpful, and answered any questions we had. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with local produce and lots of choice. We visited with our baby son - cot was provided and they even had a toy for him to play with at breakfast time.
