The hotel is definetly not an easy walking distance to anything. You should probably use public transportation. Some places like Belvedere and Schoenbrunn impossible to walk to. We were there for six days and the breakfast never varied. No more scrambled eggs and wiener for mr. be ready for huge crowds everywhere. Not cheap.

The property itself was fine probably a three star. The castles etc were awesome.

AC did not work (probably because it was winter). Warming batteries worked only in the morning and in the evening and were not really hot. Sounds from adjacent rooms are clearly heard. There is a gap between the entrance door bottom and the floor, as a result of which it is not dark enough in the room in the night, because the light penetrates from the corridor to inside the room. The Wi-Fi was not stable. The most important for me at least: the hot water in the shower was not really hot. At the maximum hot level, it was warm enough to take shower, but not really hot.

Good location, close to the city center. Polite and helping staff. Very good and tasty breakfast. Nice old-fashioned European style of rooms and building.

The room felt a litte bit stuffy and dusty but otherwise no issues.

the room was very spacious, very warm as it was super cold and snowing, the breakfast options were varied and delicious! It was slightly dated and a bit dusty but quite good value for money.

Breakfast could have been better and a least a bit more diverse. Style of the hotel is very kitsch, big paintings, color of table covers etc. I think the place needs interior designer.

Room was spacious enough for the price. There was always hot water in the shower. Location was pretty good an close enough to city center to travel on foot.

Just a short 15 minute walk from the center and the Rathaus Der Stadt is locsted in a very good position just in front of the University Campus. You'll find some restaurants option for the evening (and Zum Gangl in the campus is just amazing) Bed and sofa-bed are comfortable and the kitchen fornitoure great as well as the perfect temperature in winter. It looks very clean and absolutely safe.

Staff where so nice. The lady at reception was so nice. We arrived a little early for check in but she got our rooms ready for us and let us check in. Then when we where leaving to explore the city, she asked if we need help finding anything.

Apartments are located on1 floor, reception 2nd floor, other floors occupied by offices. Although there is an electronic lock to the building, it was broken i.e. there was free entrance to the apartment floor from the street. Despite that Vienna is safe city, entrances to buildings are locked. We stayed for 4 nights and everything was secure, but it means that hotel administration was not in a hurry to repair the electronic lock.

Pension is located about 1 km from inner ring and just 70 m from tram stops. Tram are running each 5 min. Several grocery shops are 100-200 m apart, there are also many café in the street and in university campus (other side of the street). Our room was large, kitchen conveniently equipped. Apartment room faced main road with trams, but double windows work well, there is no noise. 24 h reception is an advantage, you can store luggage before check in or after check out.

We expected to cook the breakfasts, but the kitchen was too small and not comfortable, Even the coffee machine was absent. They gave it us upon request - but only the huge old filter machine and we didn't use it I can't argue with the fact that the price of 16 square meters room and our 40 square meters studio room was the same, but if you expect to use the kitchen - just forget about that.
