Nothing to dislike - the main bedroom is open plan so privacy isn’t ideal but it is a lovely room. The apartment is a little old fashioned for the cost but it is an expensive area to stay so it is fair enough. You are next to the main road into Hallstatt but you do have a lake view.

The apartment is situated in Hallstatt but has great parking - you really are in the centre of things. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a stay and you don’t need to use the car once there if it’s Hallstatt you’ve come to see. The beds were comfortable and the balcony is great. We enjoyed a visit to the salt mine, some lovely walks round Hallstatt, hired an electric boat for a lovely hour on the lake and a short walk away there is a bathing area where you can relax on the grass and swim in the lake. We’d brought our paddle board so we used this there too.

Perfect location right next to the lake, very close to the central part of Hallstatt, yet in a peaceful and quiet environment. The apartment is very cozy and has a lovely vibe. Everything is provided to be comfortable on spot. We definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hallstatt for a few days.

This was our favorite place to stay of our two week vacation in Austria. Hallstatt is a beautiful town and Pepi's Apartment allowed me to sit on the balcony, drink a coffee, and look over the lake. The apartment is comfortable and in a great location. The host is a very sweet elderly Austrian lady that is a delight to speak to. I would love to return to Hallstatt and Pepi's Apartment is where I would stay.

Amazing location with wonderful views of the lake. Very clean and has everything you need for the perfect vacation. Comfortable beds and so nice having a washing machine. Parking was so easy and very safe in the gated private property. We look forward to returning to Pepi’s apartment next time, we visit the area. Highly recommend it.

Our Hallstatt holiday was like living in a postcard for three days. "Grandma" Carola was our perfect host; there to welcome us with a smile and to say goodbye at the end. The apartment is beautifully located at the southern end of the Hallstatt tourist walk, a stone's throw from the skywalk funicular and the bus station. The balcony with views over the lake and mountains was a bonus. Highly recommended!

It was about a 15-minute walk to the ferry landing; with luggage in tow, it was not so easy on the cobblestone streets. I knew from pictures and other guests' reviews that the ceilings were slanted and not really suitable for tall people. The shower is small with no place to put soap, shaver, etc. The tub was nice but hard to get out of (again, the slanted ceiling). There was no shampoo--just little bottles of body wash. The kitchen cookware/utensils were minimal.

Pepi's Apartment was adequate for our needs. We appreciated having a balcony with a view, a washer, and plenty of space. It was nice to have the Nespresso pods, dish soap, and dishwasher tablets. It also was nice to have a small blanket on the bed; we used it instead of the comforter. The bakery was right across the street, as was one grocery store. There is another grocery down the street. Carola was very responsive and proactive.

With little kids it is a long walk from the ferry and the wi-fi was below average. Be prepared to carry your bags upstairs. Some updates would be good.

The apartment is very spacious, the kitchen has everything we need, the washing machine and dishwasher are both efficient, the balcony has a beautiful view, the location is very ideal, and most important of all, it has it's own parking space. We love everything of it!

Google Maps doesn’t know how to get to the entrance of the apartment so I was brought on a 15 minute detour. Don’t trust Google maps to bring you there!

Cleanliness was fantastic. Location was superb! The main thing I liked about this accommodation was that I could park my car on the premises so I didn’t need to drag my luggage too far.

We were made to pay 50 euros extra only for staying 1 hour extra. Instead of 10 am we wanted to check out at 11 am due to our train timing. We requested the lady to waive-offextra amount but she was adamant. Also, access to the apartment was not easy. We arrived at 5 pm. Sun was set, it was dark and there was hardly anyone on the road. We arrived at Hallstat train station and had to take ferry as the only option. Carry cash. They don't take cards. Then from ferry point to the apartment was a 12-15 min walk. Hence consider carrying less luggage. We had to drag our 2 large+2 small suitcases all the way as there was no taxi option. But once you reach the place, you forget the pain.

The scenic view from the apartment was awesome. There was snow fall on the next day of our arrival which enhanced our fun. Hallstat was absolutely stunning. Apartment did meet our expectations. Though it was pricy but it was worth it.
