Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOnly one bed side table , bedroom a little cramped, no mirror/ dressing table. No microwave, needed an oven mitt for cooker. Seating - sofa, we didn’t find comfy. Washer can only be used 0800 to 20:00 and a fee of 2 euros. Didn’t change t towels with linen change. Nb clean towels left in bag outside flatlet door for you to collect and put the dirty ones out for collection. Didn’t like bathroom toiletries, all in one dispenser in shower and pump action soap for sink. Tiles can be slippy when wet, no slip mat. Church bells start early, hard floors so a bit of noise transfer occasionally.
Location very good, two buses the J and K take you close to the apartment from town. Easy to connect with airport, train station and town. The J bus also runs from south to north slopes câble cars. Two cafes/ bakeries close by, supermarket and breakfast cafe also. Within 10 mins is an Italian restaurant pizzeria which opens seven days a week. Good size for two adults. The apartment was clean, hard floors, wood furniture, a sofa (bed)for two, table eating seating for four/ five. Nice touches some coffee beans ready in machine, bottle of fizz and some sweet treats. Had dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, cooker with integral grill. Fridge small freezer box. Dyson fan for summer. Flat very warm. Provided with bread knife as requested promptly. Towels and t towels provided. Changed every three days .Shower room good size. Hair dryer. Bedroom, large bed with side lights, wardrobe with integral safe. Comfortable pillows and bed. Coat hanging, umbrellas provided and a shopping bag. Drying rack. Plenty of cutlery pots crockery etc. Nice lighting. Balcony with table chairs town facing. Basement contains washer and dryer collective and some storage space for each flatlet. Extra toilet rolls and rubbish bags there also. Vacuum and iron and board kept there also.

GermanyThe location was super; a short walk to the center/central bridge (15 mins max to Christmas markets) and a grocery store 2 mins walk away. Bus stop to get to the center is across the street. The staff was lovely and we appreciated the flexibility and keycard access. What a nice view, also!

United StatesChurch bells starting at 6:00. We loved them the rest of the time.
Amazing location, both walking for groceries and to the city core, and buses to get everywhere else. The staff were super responsive to all of our needs. The apartment was very open and airy, with views everywhere. It was spectacular.

United KingdomThe kitchen was missing a pair of oven gloves! And it would have been nice to have been given an extra dishwasher tablet (we were there 3 nights but only got 2 and we didn't really want to buy a whole box of them). But everything else was perfect.
A very comfortable and well equipped apartment, would have happily stayed here for weeks. Great outdoor terrace with sun loungers. Getting the welcome card was really good as gave us free public transport as well as discount on the Nordkette cable car. Washing machine and dryer in basement (2 EUR to be put in piggy bank for each use, bring own detergent). Lovely garden area as well with a small pool (unheated). The welcome treats of prosecco and other sweets were really nice! Comfy bed, excellent shower. Everything spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend.

United KingdomLovely spacious apartment with views of the mountains. Clean, comfortable and in a great location just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Rebecca was lovely and was available every morning with to help with any queries we had about local excursions. The Welcome Card provided by the host gives free use of local buses and some cable cars - which was a bonus.

United KingdomThe apartment was beautiful - bright, spacious, exceedingly well equipped and comfortable. We loved the dining area, the kitchen had everything we needed - including a wonderful coffee machine. There was a balcony with a view of the mountains which was also large enough for us to eat outside when the weather was fine. The shared facilities were also great, with a very useful laundry room and a pleasant garden with a small swimming pool. We were made to feel very welcome - with a bottle of prosecco for us when we arrived, as well as being provided with Innsbruck Welcome cards which enabled us to use all the buses and trams free of charge as well as giving us access to free or discounted entry to a range of attractions and activities in area. Although we didn't use them, we could also have used the city hotel bikes which are available in the city. The apartment is about 10 minutes walk to Innsbruck Marktplatz and we enjoyed shopping for provisions in the market hall. There is a very frequent bus serviçe to get back up the hill to the apartment, or to start your journey around the city. Finally - but not least, the office staff who are available every morning are very friendly and helpful.

SingaporeThere are some things to just bear in mind before you book: 1) Apartment has no lift. Circular stairs up to the different levels. So need to be mindful for those with big and heavy luggage. 2) There is no washing machine in the apartment: Washing machine is in the basement level and washing time is stated 8am to 8pm. So you need to time your washing. It is requested to place 2 euros for every wash. 3) Apartment faces the church and the cemetery. So for those who may not like the idea of staying next to or seeing the cemetery, you may need to consider this.
Apartment is a slight distance away from the inner city. I was initially afraid of the walking distance up the slope but to my relief there’s bus J just right in front of the apartment that takes us straight into town. Owner prepared Innsbruck Welcome Cards for us and we could travel free on public transport. There was view of the mountains from the apartment. Apartment was big, spacious and comfortable. The church bells ring gently every 30mins which we are comfortable with.

United KingdomThe apartment is very clean and stylish. Plenty of space and a comfortable bed. From reading the previous reviews we were aware of the church bells when we booked and so it was not a surprise to be woken by them at 7am. We would definitely rebook this apartment if returning to Innsbruck.

RussiaThe location is a bit far from the main city, so it takes some time if you'd need to go to skiing resorts by bus. Also, restaurants are on the other side of the river. It was not clear how the room cleaning works so for a couple of days we missed the service. A bit expensive.
It's a quiet cozy place, nice views around. Bus stops and grocery are close. The apartments themselves are new and designed well. The ground floor has a nice summer terrace. There is a ski storage room. Staff was extremely welcome.
