United StatesWhen you leave the parking garage, we turned left and ended up on a pedestrian trail that became very narrow. We damaged our rental car and everyone screamed at us. There were no signs so I think the hotel should tell you to turn right to not make that mistake our rental car nearly fell into the lake.
Stunning views landmark hotel very famous. Everything was top notch the breakfast was grand.

South AfricaThe view from our hotel room was slightly impeded by other buildings. I thought Weisses Rossl would have an uninterrupted view of the Wolfgangsee. A large busload of tourists invaded the Hotel during our stay and it was difficult to utilise the Spa baths and swimming pools as the atmosphere was not the same.
The breakfast quality is excellent with a phenomenal view of the Wolfgangsee. The Lunch restaurant on the Terrace overlooking the lake is also sublime.

The view from our room overlooking the lake was amazing. We stayed off season in November when a lot of places were closed and we often had the outdoor pool and jacuzzi to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice for us and our 3 year old.

United KingdomOn arrival there was nowhere to get food at ALL. No room service, restaurant booked, everywhere in town closed, adventure Market closed. Apparently this was because we arrived on a Monday. However since no one let us know in advance we spent a day travelling and then had to get back in the car to drive 7km to get snacks from a petrol station. I really feel this is something the hotel should have warned us about. We saw several other couples who were caught out too, and it was only 7pm. This was quite stressful. Also the hotel charges extra for parking and it is very expensive.
This hotel is like a dream. Room was beautiful with stunning views. Breakfast will never be topped in my LIFE. Lovely pool, outdoor lake and jacuzzi were great fun. Amazing 4 course supper. Very lovely staff, plenty of towels. So close to the Christmas Market, and you can hear the church clock chiming.

United Kingdom- My family and I stayed here a number of years between 2005 and 2014. A few days in the Weissen Rossl was supposed to be the “treat” (and by far the most expensive) part of our holiday. Although there were some great examples of good service, I was left thinking the hotel had lost its former sparkle. - Although I received the room I booked, I found it very disappointing (especially given the history of staying there), small and cluttered. It was also so hot. I know the hotel does have nicer rooms though. - The pet charge was very high (the highest of our trip) and I do not feel reflected the cost of having a small dog (which does not shed). In other hotels we have stayed at on this trip, where hotels have applied a pet charge, they have provided, for example, water bowls, a bed/blanket, poo bags, treats and/or a toy, which makes me feel that my dog (and me) are very welcome. Despite the high pet charge, no such things were provided.

PakistanUnfortunately there were no ACs so it could get a little hot, and curtains didn’t block any sunlight. Also, because we stayed on between 29th April to 1st May, there was extra noise due to festival and couldn’t sleep all night because of that as my room was facing the streets
I loved the history, the staff, location and the atmosphere. Staff was extra helpful, and not just one person but everyone on the team was extra hospitable and genuinely cared for the guests. Interacting with any team member was super comforting and nice.

United Arab EmiratesPool was not working for our entire stay and this is was the main reason why we booked it, we were only informed a couple of days before and so it was a huge disappointment. Separately, we ordered an empty plate for the room and it came with a 20 euros invoice. They didn't end up charging it but it was weird. Zero assistant with luggage which is kind of expected at a 5-star hotel.
Stayed for 4 nights with our 2 kids. Nice location and view + room was spacious (suite).

ThailandOn January 1st, we had to leave the hotel at 8 am for the airport. The written information at the hotel said that breakfast started at 7 am., so we planned to have breakfast before leaving. But when we went to the restaurant, the entrance sign said it would open at 8 am. So, we had to skip breakfast. We used a valet parking service. On our checkout, the valet staff disappeared, and the front desk lady couldn’t find our key. We had to wait for an hour until the GM came to help find the key and get our car! That was why we had a chance to have an excellent breakfast while waiting for our car. We had to rush to the airport on that morning extremely :-(
