The hotel is perfect but stay at Obertraun can be uncomfortable once there is not transport...the bus stop at 5pm, the boat is not always available, and sometimes the taxis are not available in the evening also. We had to walk 6km at 9pm because there was no taxis when we finished our dinner. I reccomend rent a car.

Amazing hotel, beautiful location, and it shouldn't be considered as 2 stars...it is better than a lot of 3 stars I've stayed. Confortable room, super confortable bed, the room has a frigobar, coffee station, wardrobe and a table, good breakfast, amazing staff.

The reception was only available during the day. During nighttime, it was off, In case of emergencies someone present would be helpful.

The staff was really polite and super helpful. The attention to detail in the rooms in terms of highlighting important things, keeping sure to make the stay comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. The location is beautiful, very calm and scenic and very beautiful.

The hotel does not have proper sound insulation, so you hear everything that happens in the corridor. For this reason, I think this hotel is not suitable for long stays.

This hotel is a few meters away from the lake. We had a room overlooking the lake and the view from our balcony was wonderful. The room itself was not large but very cozy. The staff at reception were very friendly.

Everything was just awesome. Very clean, great location, gorgeous view to the lake, everting your need present in the room, breakfast was tasty. Although, they say that the room is small, we don’t think so, our room was quite big bright and cosy!

The morning noise while the rooms are being cleaned could be a little quieter

Accessibility of workers in the hotel , girl with blond hair who speaks English worked at the reception and everything was great and explained, thank you for your service. Breakfast was great. Park outside of Hotel for children is super.

This hotel has a look and feel of a chalet, serving tourists who visit Hallstatt and are interested in skiing. A plus is the view over the lake as it is located north of Hallstatt's center.

The bus to go to Hallstatt passes only once per hour and the circulation stops early in the evening. Not easy to get a taxi. No ferries in the winter, so we had some difficulties with the transportation
