All perfect ! ( But the review line from b.com is still red because apparently we don t write enough words to ( turning yellow now ) please the ( green now, hurray ! ) algorithm so here we go , this was an absolutely great hotel, I mean that, regardless of the previous sarcasm, so now let s see what the effect is on the rating . Here s my message : don t always trust reviews, drive to the place , check it out . This hotel is excellent.

Breakfast was top quality , excellent location, staff very helpfull and professional. Super nice view ( we were on the sight towards the skiing areas ) . We came back a second time without booking through the platform that s asking our review ( and hurray ! ) .

The beds are a bit soft.

We appreciated the room upgrade with the extra space and enjoyable views from the balcony. The breakfast was very good including and excellent omelette in a very spacious lovely dinning room. The lounge area is very comfortable with a wide range of books and games for all ages. The staff are always polite and helpful

The only thing that I can think of as a minor drawback, which for most people I believe will be of minor interest, is the fact that the room both times we stayed in the hotel, felt really hot. Of course you can adjust yourself the radiators according to your taste and air the room, but it felt as if all hotel rooms and hallways were set to maximum temperature and thus, needed some time till the room temperature drop to like 22 degrees Celsius. Certainly, this still shouldn’t be something to make you not choose Seelos for your stay, as such things are always of a subjective nature and of course adjustable.

We have stayed in Hotel Seelos twice over the last two ski seasons (March 2023 and February 2024) and I can only speak positively about this hotel, its facilities, services and staff generally, with my second stay taking place almost 1 year from the 1st one, proving their consistency and quality overall. The hotel’s location first of all, is indisputably magnificent and strategic at the same time, with panoramic views not only of the village of Seefeld, but also to both Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf’s slopes, while being just 5-6 minutes on foot from the center of Seefeld. The atmosphere of the hotel’s main common areas (in and out) really captures you, with this warm and traditional Austrian feeling and aesthetic continued also into the very spacious and comfortable rooms. We have stayed both in the Junior Suite and Superior Suite, and the available space and amenities both rooms have are exceptional! Ample room for your luggage, ski boots, clothes and jackets to hang or leave on the on the couch and armchair and of course, super comfortable beds to relax and regenerate you following a great, yet exhausting skiing day! The experience in the breakfast area and the breakfast itself was both times exceptional and super tasty! Great Austrian atmosphere, magnificent views of the slopes to enjoy while having your breakfast and of course a great variety of choices to fulfill even the most demanding appetites! Don’t miss the traditional delicacies the hotel freshly makes every day and the h great options of marmalade flavors. Not to mention, that they even offer specific made-to-order breakfast options. The loby as well is also a very cozy place to relax after a long day, with super comfy couches and armchairs and a bar offering soft or long, cold and hot drinks.

Too soft mattress; Staff pleasant but rather cold (an accommodating and pleasant bartender made us 1-times an extra Piña colada drink, however, the next day he was not allowed to do so according to the manager's instructions, as the drink was not on the menu). Unfortunately too many families with very small children who were unpleasantly screaming and disturbing during meals

Nothing really! One very minor thing is that the lights in the restaurant were very bright and if they were turned down a tad it would be a lot cosier.

Perfect location, easy to walk into the village and to the bus stop for the ski slopes. Room was huge and really comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious and so much of it! Waitress in the restaurant was so friendly.

Everything was superb. The location is ideal, the overall feel of the hotel is light, airy and wonderfully traditional. Room 205 is double-aspect and has carpet.

Two single beds pushed together made hard to sleep together with my fiancee as the beds were keep drifting apart

Staff was really friendly and we were super pleased as when we came to eat breakfast in the morning, we had a table ready for us with confetti and the candle, which they lit up as soon as we came. It was my fiancees birthday but we hadn't said anything to the staff, all we did is just filled basic forms as we checked and in to the hotel and they must find out then and made a little, but super pleasant surprise.

Only negative is lack of tea and coffee until breakfast room opens at 0700 or 0730.
