“The location and surroundings are fantastic. It really doesn't feel like you're in the CBD, but rather a tropical island paradise! The gardens are just beautiful, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed. We have stayed in all room types (hotel, bungalow and villa) and all are well-appointed and comfortable. For this booking, we agreed the plunge pool (spa) is worth splashing out for if you plan to mostly relax in private, as we did toward the end of our 2-week NT holiday. Otherwise, the main pool is also very relaxing, if at times busy. We found there isn't generally a party-type crowd staying here, so it's pretty quiet, and the cocktails at the pool bar are great. Staff are always friendly, and we love Pickles the parrot, of course! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Darwin.”
